It is one of the longest and stronger runways in the world, at 15,000 feet (4,600 m), and is 300 feet (91 m) wide.
The facility includes a 150 x 168 meter (490x550ft) parking apron and a 3. 2 km (2 mile) tow-way connecting it with the Orbiter Processing Facility.
