Getting Started

  • What is FS Addon Compare?

    FS Addon Compare helps users find the best deals on Microsoft Flight Simulator addons by providing price comparisons across multiple stores, making it easy to choose where to purchase addons like aircraft, scenery, and utilities.

    FS Addon Compare tracks when addons go on sale and an addon's price history over time, helping you to always find the best deal.

  • Do I need an account to use FS Addon Compare?

    You can browse addons and prices without an account, but features like My Library, Wishlist, and Notifications require you to be signed in.

    You can Sign up for a new account or Log in to an existing account.

Account & Features

  • How does My Library work?

    Use the button on an addon card to add it to your library.

    You can save purchase details such as store, purchase date, and notes, then manage everything from the My Library page.

  • How does Wishlist work?

    Use the button on an addon card to add it to your wishlist. Click it again to remove it.

    Your Wishlist page supports sorting, filtering, pagination, and manual reordering.

  • How do notifications work?

    You will receive notifications for wishlisted addons going on sale, new site features, and other notable events.

    You can view notifications from the bell menu or the Notifications page, and mark them as read individually or all at once.

  • How do ratings and reviews work?

    Ratings are combined from store ratings and FS Addon Compare user ratings to show one overall average.

    When you submit or update your rating, it will be added to the average on the next data refresh.

    You can rate from an addon page in the ratings and reviews section, or from the product card in My Library. You can also edit or delete your review later.

Pricing & Data

  • Why are prices different on the store's website?

    Prices seen here may differ slightly compared to a store's website for many reasons

    • Prices are shown without any local taxes applied.
    • Prices are only updated four times per day.
    • Different stores list products in different currencies, price shown may be an estimate using currency conversion. Conversion rate is updated daily. Paying for products in a different currency to your own may incur additional costs.

    If you still believe a price is wrong please contact us on our Discord or submit our feedback form.

  • How often do prices update?

    Four times per day.

  • How do I change currency?

    Use the currency selector in the top navigation to switch between supported currencies.

    Converted prices are estimates based on exchange rates updated daily. Final checkout totals may differ depending on the store and your payment provider.

  • What do Best Price and Recommended mean?

    Best Price marks the lowest currently indexed price for an addon.

    Recommended highlights partner stores and may include exclusive discounts for FS Addon Compare users.

  • How do you have prices for the MSFS Marketplace?

    We've partnered with msfsmarket.place for price information for the MSFS Marketplace. This is the unofficial MSFS Marketplace website.

    msfsmarket.place does not currently support MSFS 2024, so Marketplace data here currently only covers MSFS 2020.

    If you see an Unofficial badge on a Marketplace price, it means the data comes from this unofficial source and not the official in-sim Marketplace. Because of this, prices may be less accurate, so please double check before purchasing.

  • Why can't I find the addon I'm looking for?

    We index multiple stores, but not everywhere. The addon must appear on one of these stores. We currently index the following stores:

    • Aerosoft
    • Contrail
    • Flightsim.to
    • iniBuilds
    • Just Flight
    • Marketplace (unofficial)
    • Orbx
    • SimMarket

    We also index many addon developers own websites.

  • Why only Microsoft Flight Simulator?

    Currently we only support addons for MSFS, but in future we may expand to other simulators!

  • How can I be notified when an addon goes on sale?

    Create an account and add addons to your wishlist to receive sale notifications on-site.

    Join our Discord and subscribe to the #on-sale channel. We post when an addon goes on sale on one of the stores we index!
