About Blaise Diagne International Airport
Blaise Diagne International Airport (IATA: DSS, ICAO: GOBD) is Senegal’s primary international gateway, located in the Thiès Region near Diass. Opened to replace the aging Léopold Sédar Senghor International Airport, GOBD was built to meet the growing demands of Dakar’s aviation sector. Today, it serves as the country’s most important hub, handling millions of passengers each year.
