Syracuse Hancock International Airport (IATA: SYR, ICAO: KSYR, FAA LID: SYR) is a joint civil-military airport five miles northeast of downtown Syracuse, in Onondaga County, New York, and 65 miles (100 km) south of Watertown. The airport is off Interstate 81, near Mattydale, New York. The main terminal complex is at the east end of Colonel Eileen Collins Boulevard. The airport’s territory extends into the Towns of DeWitt, Cicero, and Salina.

Telluride is both a popular winter Ski destination and a summer festival/hiking vacation for tourists. In addition to the Denver airlink, KTEX is a popular destination by many private pilots flying aircraft up to Gulfstream size. It's also used as a stop over airport crossing the continent.
Telluride is a challenging airport to land your aircraft. At 9070ft you need more speed and landing distance. In addition, there is a 1000ft drop into the San Miguel River Valley below. Runway 9 has a step 3. 55' glide path, Runway 27 has an even stepper 4. 0' glide path due to terrain east of the runway. There is not enough terrain separation for large jets to safely circle to land on runway 27, therefore large Jets must land runway 9 often with a tailwind. Smaller Jet may land on runway 27 at pilot's discretion.

With high detail models researched and based on the real airport, including both large and small details to enhance your flight SIM experience. With the advantages of the MSFS engine, we can now bring you sloping runways and enhanced lighting effects not previously possible with other simulators. The scenery is based on the airport as it was in 2022, and is optimized for the new MS flight sim.
