With several backcountry airstrips nestled along the Snake River and in the uplands, this region is a haven for those with guts and grit, seeking solitude and adventure.
The U. S. Forest Service (USFS) maintains these airstrips that allow access to Hells Canyon's rugged beauty. Each airstrip has its own unique appeal:
Memaloose (OR): Memaloose Airport serves as a gateway for aerial firefighting in the Hells Canyon National Forest and for pilots looking to explore the remote and scenic areas of Hells Canyon. It offers access to hiking, camping, and other outdoor activities in the surrounding wilderness. However, due to its challenging conditions, it is recommended for experienced backcountry pilots.
Dug Bar (OR): Dug Bar holds historical significance as the site where the Nez Perce people crossed the Snake River in 1877 during their forced relocation. The airstrip provides access to this historic area and is a popular spot for camping and exploring.
Sluice Creek (OR): Directly east of Memaloose, Sluice Creek is now a protected site to aid the natural environment. Keep the tires light and stay on the dirt!
Big Bar (ID): This airstrip has been a key access point for backcountry enthusiasts and river users. Volunteers from the Idaho Aviation Association have maintained it over the years, ensuring its usability for pilots.
Salmon Bar (OR): Known for its challenging conditions, this airstrip is located in a steep-walled canyon. It is recommended for experienced pilots due to its narrow runway and potential for turbulent air.
Cache Creek (OR): A quiet retreat, this airstrip is primarily used for private aviation and is known for its peaceful and remote setting. The landing at Cache Creek has the highest slope of all the airports in this package, so make sure to do a flyover and choose your best approach. This location is also a popular stopping point for summer activities, featuring a restaurant, picnic area, and boat docking—perfect for mid-summer adventure seekers!
Pittsburg (OR): This airstrip serves as a gateway to the Snake River and is often used by anglers and hikers. It is part of the network of airstrips that support recreational activities in the Hells Canyon region and hosts one of the largest campgrounds along the river. Surely, you'll find evening gatherings here!
Temperance Creek (OR): This airstrip is tied to ranch operations and requires special permission for use. It is located near the Snake River and serves as an administrative site for the U. S. Forest Service.
Lord Flat (OR): Built in 1943, this airstrip was constructed to provide quicker access to the remote area during emergencies and for administrative purposes. It is primarily used during hunting season and offers stunning views of the surrounding canyons.
Hat Point Lookout (near Memaloose): For a different perspective, consider hiking to Hat Point Lookout, the highest vantage point on the Oregon side of the canyon. You’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the Snake River below and the expansive wilderness surrounding it. This spot offers a peaceful and grounding contrast to the thrill of backcountry flying. Don't forget to walk to the top of the tower for a memorable selfie!
Safety: These airstrips are remote and challenging, with short runways and variable weather. Pilots should be experienced in backcountry flying and thoroughly prepared before attempting to land.

The city's economy is primarily based on services. Most large Finnish companies are headquartered in the greater Helsinki region, due to international connections, logistics networks and availability of labor in the city.
The lights have been added for greater realism in the simulator. Are visible at great distances and through a huge area of the city. Not only the buildings, but also the highways and intersections of highways were fully illuminated. Your flight will be totally different with this product.

In addition, FSC Mannheim provide activities in skydiving and parachute sports. The airfield is located on the Rhine and is close to Hockenheim, Speyer and Ketsch. Due to its location on the Rhine, the airfield is usually flooded despite the dams. Drying out after flooding can take several weeks, and no flight operations are possible during this time. On August 3, 2017, a Pilatus PC6 Porter with a pilot and ten parachutists on board collided with a tractor that was standing on the apron. There was considerable damage to property - but no one was injured. Enjoy your flight over the superb Speyer Bridge !
