This package focuses on the bridges and scenery along the beautiful Oregon south coast from the Chetco River at Brookings in the south up to Depoe Bay. The package includes 21 bridges, 7 lighthouses, improvements to 9 airports and fixes to 200 miles of coastline cliffs and vegetation. The bridges and lighthouses are modeled to accurately reflect their architecture with appropriate night lighting and rotating lighthouse beams. There are a mixture of road and rail bridges. The road bridges are mainly on US route 101 coastal highway.
All items included in the package are listed at the end of this description.
The default coast cliffs and vegetation often detract from the beauty and realism of the bridges and coastline so a multitude of fixes have been made. As an example two of the photos show a comparison of the default Thomas Creek Bridge with the one in this package.
Also along this stretch of coastline there are 9 airports which have been improved as the defaults often show no buildings or have inappropriate houses where there should be hangars. Asobo generic items such as hangars, aircraft, fueling stations, windsocks and airport beacon towers have been added to make the airports more realistic.
Conde McCullough designed many beautiful bridges in Oregon and you will be able to identify his designs by the art deco and gothic details he used. He wanted beautiful bridges as well as utility.
