The military airport of Rivolto has a very long history that goes back to the beginnings of aerial acrobatics. It is the place that, in March 1961, welcomed the first pilots of the Frecce Tricolori and is now inextricably linked to the name of the National Acrobatic Patrol (PAN). Today it is also the seat of the 2nd Stormo and is certainly one of the most known and visited places in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
