The original data are of the best quality available to ensure the mesh precision is of best quality as possible. The mesh is designed to filter areas; areas at lower ground are left as default mesh; as the altitude increase the mesh translate into 10 m resolution; this allow this mesh to maintain acceptable performance; it also save lots of disk space.
