What Vox VFR does
You tune your radio to the correct aerodrome frequency, press your PTT key, and speak. The application recognizes your request, transitions the matching flight phase, and the tower (or GND, AFIS, SIV or ATIS) responds with the expected phraseology.
A few example exchanges generated by the application (in French, as in the actual product):
You: « La Rochelle Tour, F-BXYZ, au parking, demande mise en route et roulage »
TWR: « F-BXYZ, La Rochelle Tour, mise en route approuvée, roulez via point d'attente A, aviation générale, QNH 1013 »
You: « Tour de F-BXYZ, prêt au départ »
TWR: « F-BXYZ, piste 14, autorisé décollage, vent 130 degrés 8 nœuds »
You: « Vannes, F-BXYZ, en vent arrière main gauche piste 22 pour un complet »
AFIS: « F-BXYZ, reçu vent arrière, rappelez finale piste 22 »
The phraseology follows the French Decree of June 27, 2000 as amended (3rd edition, May 1, 2016) — the official DGAC reference.

Vox VFR is an offline ATC for solo flights. It's complementary to VATSIM/IVAO, not a replacement.

Are updates paid?
