FARS Robertson Airport New
Robertson is a town in the Western Cape Province of South Africa, at the heart of Route 62; the wine route. The town is also known as the known as the valley of wine and roses and the airport is situated on the western edge of the town. The town was founded in 1853 and named after Dr William Robertson, a Scottish Dutch Reformed Church minister.

The Western Province Sport Parachute Club (WPSPC), which is the oldest parachute club in South Africa operates from Robertson Airfield over weekends and public holidays. It facilitates tandem skydiving and student training, and provides a facility for sports skydivers.
