Some aircraft are special the moment you see them. The Legacy RG550 was one of those for us. Fast, sleek and unmistakably individual, it brings together high performance and the hands-on character of a homebuilt aircraft.
Powered by a big engine, the RG550 delivers strong acceleration, climbs of more than 2,000 feet per minute and cruise speeds of up to 280 miles per hour. It’s quick and responsive in the air, yet composed at the stall and approachable on landing. The roomy cockpit and one-piece lifting canopy give you an open view as you explore the skies.
Experience the Legacy with Accu-Sim
Accu-Sim is A2A’s own simulation engine, bringing the Legacy RG550’s custom flight model, engine and aircraft systems together in one cohesive experience. The result is an aircraft that responds to your inputs and feels alive in the air, from the first moments of acceleration on the runway to the subtle changes you’ll notice as you fly.
Each Legacy has its own character. Individual avionics installations, careful engine tuning and wear over time help make every flight feel personal. Choose from cockpit options and avionics configurations, including A2A’s custom avionics and support for classic third-party GPS units.
Take the Legacy out for a relaxed tour or put its performance to work. This is a detailed, immersive aircraft add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, created for pilots who want more than a model to look at.
A Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 version will be added to this package free of charge after release, following the same approach as the Accu-Sim Aerostar.
Created through thousands of hours of work, the Accu-Sim Legacy RG550 brings this remarkable aircraft to your flight simulator.
Welcome to the Legacy experience.
