The Humber Bridge & Hessle Foreshore
FS2024 Known Issues (19/11/2024):
Several variations which have been logged as bugs with FS2020 scenery installed in FS2024 are still pending as of 19/11/2024. We are expecting these to be resolved after the official release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 by means of sim updates from Microsoft/Asobo. We have been informed that no changes should be required for compatibility with 2024, and are basing our compatibility assessment on that for the time being. The following variations may be e... Several variations which have been logged as bugs with FS2020 scenery installed in FS2024 are still pending as of 19/11/2024. We have been informed that no changes should be required for compatibility with 2024, and are basing our compatibility assessment on that for the time being. The following variations may be encountered in the meantime:
- Some missing ground textures.
- Missing custom light assets such as warning beacons.
- Carpark vehicles parket at the wrong angle.
- Some road deck mis-alignment due to terrain differences.
- Vehicles ignoring collision objects and travelling below the road deck.

The Humber Bridge, spanning the River Humber between Hessle and Barton in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England was once the longest single span suspension bridge in the world. With a total span of 2. 22 km, the bridge opened in 1981, and remained a Record Breaker until 1998.
This add-on scenery provides a more accurately modelled and detailed bridge, together with the popular Hessle Foreshore area which includes Humber Rescue, Hessle Whiting Mill and foreshore cottages, as well as detailed parking facilities and Wolds Way pathway.

Key features:
- Assign axis movement and simulator events to joystick axis or MIDI rotary encoders
- Assign any simulator event to joystick or MIDI buttons
- Access simulator internal LVARs
- Utilize the new MSFS HTML and BVar variables, plus the native Input Events to control for example the buttons on the G1000 units.
- RPN, JScript and VBScript scripting: by creating your own scripts, it is possible to trigger more complex functionality with a single button than is normally possible with native simulator events.
- Mouse controlled yoke, rudder, throttle or spoilers axis, with trim (in MSFS too)
- Voice recognition, AxisAndOhs can make use of the Windows Voice Recognition system as an input device for button events or scripts
- TextToSpeech: With RPN scripts you can utilize the Windows TextToSpeech system to make AxisAndOhs read information to you.
- Custom checklist/conversation system that can be used with TextToSpeech or your own sound samples.
- AxisAndOhs will also handle Saitek Multi, Radio, Switch and Backlit Information panels. Up to 3 Saitek Flight Instrument Panels ("FIP") can be used as well.
- The app includes virtual flight instruments that you can drag anywhere on your desktop (for example to another screen) or view them using a web browser on any device (for example phone or tablet) that is connected to your LAN or WiFi. They use the standard FS XML format, so you can make your own too.
- vJoy Interface. With this interface you can send joystick button and axis events, using the vJoy virtual devices. This can not only be used to control simulator features that are otherwise too complex to reach (for example the MSFS camera controls). The interface is also available in Offline Mode, so AxisAndOhs can be used with every application that accepts the vJoy virtual joysticks. For example, you could utilize your MIDI hardware in your favourite racing sim.
- ViGEm Interface. With this interface you can send gamepad button and axis events to the sim or any other app, in offline mode too.
- CAN interface: AAO now supports CANable and CANhid USB devices.
- API based on standard web technology (XMLHttpRequests and JSONP). It supports sending button events, triggering of simulator event IDs, reading from and writing to simulator variables.
More virtual flight instruments, like the Airbus type PFD, and Bridge programes utilizing the WebAPI are available as separate free downloads on the AxisAndOhs product website.

Heringsdorf Airport (Flughafen Heringsdorf) (ICAO: EDAH) is a regional airport located near Garz on the island of Usedom in Germany. It used to be an East German airbase and today features summer leisure routes from cities in Germany and Switzerland as well as general aviation. The airport takes its name from the nearby municipality of Heringsdorf, located some 10 kilometres (6. 2 miles) to the north. The airport takes its name from the nearby municipality of Heringsdorf, located some 10 kilometres (6. 2 miles) to the north. The largest town on the island however is Świnoujście in Poland, immediately to the east of the airport. Heringsdorf Airport features a single small terminal building equipped with check-in facilities and an information desk. The apron features one stand for mid-sized-aircraft such as the Airbus A319 and several stands for smaller aircraft such as the Cessna 172. By winter 2015, the airport has been equipped with renewed firefighting and security facilities as well as a refurbished check-in area. Either you pilot airliner, private aircrafts or helicopters, fly this superb regional airport surrounded by pristine landscape.
