On emergency occasions it is served by the alternate airport in the city of Montería, capital of the neighboring department of Córdoba. It has regional and national operation. It is the replacement of the Baracoa de Magangué Airport, south of the department of Bolívar.
· Historians say that in the place where the airport operates today, during the time of the Inquisition, the presumed witches of the region were burned in the vicinity of this place. For this reason, they say, the site took the name of Las Brujas and over time, when the airport was built, it was baptized with the same name. It has regional and national operation.
- On July 12, 1939, the first plane landed, inaugurating the services of the Las Brujas airport, which had been under construction at the initiative of SCADTA and famous people since 1938. The opening flight of the airport was operated by the airline SCADTA (now Avianca), with a Sikorsky S-38 hybrid aircraft.
- In 2008 the airport was awarded to the concessionaire AirPlan, which currently manages it and will carry out renovations in the terminal.
- In 2016 the airport received 71,181 passengers, while in 2017 it received 81,472 passengers according to data published by the Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste.

On 6 January 1987, the airport name was officially normalised to its present form. It is named after the neighbourhood where it is located. The IATA airport code of Viracopos is VCP and the specific city code of Campinas is CPQ. Sometimes both codes are used as one although there is a distinction between them in airline reservation systems: VCP, together with CGH (Congonhas) and GRU (Guarulhos), is part of the multiple airport system set around the city of São Paulo (code SAO). An airline that files services with the code VCP has flights displayed when passengers or travel agents request service from São Paulo, whereas flights filed withn the code CPQ are displayed as service from Campinas, not São Paulo. A similar example is New York City (NYC), in which the airport codes LGA (LaGuardia Airport), JFK (John F. Kennedy International Airport), and EWR (Newark Liberty International Airport) are used for the same city, although Newark is located in a different city and state.

not mainly a VFR navigation exercise - it is a fun flying adventure. It is based on Susie Air, which
operates in Papua (Indonesia). (If you want to find out more about flying for the real Susie Air,
YouTube has a number of films on the subject including a documentary series called "The Most
Dangerous Place to be a Pilot". )
Susie Air flies to mountain dirt strips in the maountains of central Papua. These strips are built on
mountain slopes and they do not need to be as long as level strips. Susie Air uses the Pilatus PC-6
Porter for mountain strip operations but this is not available in the simulator. The trip is flown with
the Cessna Grand Caravan (which Susie Air does use on other routes).
Two versions of the trip are available with different weather presets – few clouds or scattered
clouds. Scattered clouds presents a far more interesting challenge for experienced pilots. The trip
requires flying over high mountains and if you fly though a cloud at such heights you will get
windscreen icing which is difficult to get rid of. Descending is the only remedy but the melt takes a
long time! So you may have to deviate to avoid the randomly generated clouds.
In this trip you will have plenty of opportunity to fly at tree top level along narrow tree lined valleys
searching for your next destination. Most of these have difficult approaches which may require
steep turns and steep dives. The landings are onto short airstrips up-hill and the takeoffs from the
same short strips are downhill. Sometimes, the strips are only just long enough for the takeoff.
The product also includes a number of scenery enhancements. A vital missing airport is provided.
Valleys are created for rivers that otherwise flow up and over large hills. Trees at the end of
airstrips that would prevent landing and takeoff have been removed.
If your ultimate aspiration is to fly big jets in ATC-sanitised air corridors this is probably not the
adventure for you. If you like flying by the seat of your pants, welcome aboard and buckle up!

It is also the seat of the municipality of Lisbon, whose administrative boundaries coincide with those of the city and whose territory is subdivided into 24 parishes. The city's administrative status was originally granted by the dictator Julius Caesar as a Roman municipality.
Lisbon is considered a global city due to its importance in financial, commercial, media, artistic, educational and tourist aspects. It is one of the main economic centers of the European continent, thanks to a growing financial progress favored by the largest container port on the Atlantic coast of Europe. The Lisbon region is the richest in the country, being the twentieth richest on the continent.
Cascais is a Portuguese city in the sub-region of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area, belonging to the region with the same name and the district of Lisbon.
Due to its natural and scenic values, both the town and the municipality experienced a surge in popularity that saw it become the preferred destination for Portuguese and foreign elites from the 19th century onwards. The arrival and electrification of the railway were essential for the progress of the municipality, being the main factor for its urbanization from 1930 onwards. Since then, it has grown to assert itself as one of the main suburbs of Lisbon and one of the main tourist destinations in the country, sharing the phenomena of suburbanization and peri-urbanization that took place in the rest of the metropolitan area, evident above all in the interior of the municipality.
The lights have been added for greater realism in the simulator. Are visible at great distances and through a huge area of the city. Not only the buildings, but also the highways and intersections of highways were fully illuminated. Your flight will be totally different with this product.

It is located on the banks of the Transamazon Highway at 3. 5 km — towards the bridge over the Itacaiúnas River to Itupiranga — in the Quindangues district, in the urban core of Cidade Nova.
History
The history of the airport in Marabá dates back to the 1930s, when Brigadier Lysias Augusto Rodrigues and engineer Américo Barbosa de Oliveira, led the opening and construction of a landing strip in the future area of Nova Marabá. The inauguration is marked by the arrival of the first aircraft, a single-engine Waco CSO C-27, from Correio Aéreo Nacional, piloted by Brigadier Rodrigues, on November 17, 1935.
In 1940 and 1946, the runway was expanded and started to be managed by the Brazilian Air Force (FAB), serving as an auxiliary air base during World War II. Asphalt would only come in 1966/1967.
With the imminence of the use of the Nova Marabá area for the construction of the future city of Marabá, the airstrip was transferred in 1973, by the FAB and the Superintendence for the Development of the Amazon (SUDAM), to Cidade Nova, at the back of the traditional neighborhood from Amapá.
Until 1978, João Correa da Rocha Airport had a precarious take-off and landing strip, and its movement was carried out by Douglas DC-3 aircraft and air taxis.
The connection with the city center was poor, given its location beyond the Itacaiúnas River, which separates the airport from the historic center of the city. At that time there was no road bridge over this river and the traffic of people and vehicles took place by boats and ferries, which made its use and development extremely difficult.
The donation contract from the Municipality of Marabá to the Federal Government was defined on September 14, 1977 (Process filed with the Ministry of Finance under No. MF 0768-81. 479/69). The new airport structure was built by the Ministry of Aeronautics, through the Amazon Airports Commission (COMARA). It opened on May 20, 1978.
On November 3, 1980, the Brazilian Airport Infrastructure Company (Infraero) took over the airport, setting up in the same decade one of the most valuable Brazilian air bridges in that period, connecting Marabá to the Serra Pelada gold mining zone, with regular flights.
In 2010, in honor of journalist João Corrêa da Rocha, founder of the newspaper Notícias de Marabá, Marabá airport was named after him.
