HOW TO INSTALL:
Locate the Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 installation folder
You need to find and open the folder called "Community"
Copy the folder "marinerm-chengdu-j-36" you just extracted to the Community folder.
Start the game and the "Marine RM Chengdu J-36" will be in its hangar ready to fly!
HOW TO PLAY:
When you start on the runway, your aircraft will be ready for flight. If you're starting cold and dry, consider pressing the STARTER button on the panel in front of you. Wait 1 minute for the engine to fully ignite and monitor the EICAS (first screen on the left panel) as the engine RPM and temperature increase to the ideal level. In the meantime, you can experiment with the Chocks or GPU display. When taking off, consider briefly using the afterburner, as there will be ample power available due to the three engines in the fuselage.
Using the Autopilot is simple, but requires prior guidance: you must click on the desired function before starting digitation to click enter. Use the ENT buttons to confirm what you've entered or the CLR button to clear and enter again. It is always necessary to click on the desired function before entering. Consider always starting to configure your AP by maintaining altitude, so first press the ALT button and then enter the desired value, and press ENT if the final value has less than 4 digits. Above 5 digits, the value is automatically applied by the AP. Next, set your desired speed or HDG, or even GPS navigation mode. If you want to remove speed control, click the A/T button in the upper right corner of the screen. Consider using the VS+ and VS- buttons to interact with climb mode.
IMPORTANT: Avoid using Mach control during climbs to avoid constant acceleration and deceleration; During the climb phase, if you want to use A/T, use the normal SPEED control, in knots, and after stabilizing your altitude, change to Mach if you wish.
The radio screen works similarly: click on the frequency type you want to change (COMM 1 or XPNDR) and enter the desired frequency, pressing ENT when finished, or CLR to clear your entry.
Your MDF panel displays local time, landing gear status, navigation light status, and flap status. When landing, note that your landing speed may be low, less than 140 knots, due to the shape of the aircraft. There are filters and digital controls to make the flight more stable during this phase, but some caution and skill are recommended for a safe landing.
Quick View 5 in the cockpit is a fixed camera on the outside of the aircraft with a HUD, for tactical flight similar to aerial combat games.

Move the Timeline Slider backward, to the left, and you will display your last seconds of flight. Whenever you want, from any Yellow Slider point, you can resume your flight by simply pushing the Stop Button. In case of Crash to Desktop when this mode is activated, your airplane is restored in its last known position.
- Camera Movments Record and Replay (MSFS P3D) :
- Independently from the aircraft flight situation. You can record both usual aircraft flight AND the camera movements at once in the same and unique flight situation file OR you can prefer to record ONLY the camera movements, in its respective FCR file. The simple recording of the usual aircraft flight is still possible of course.
- For example, you can use this new feature to work and record an advanced camera path, impressive camera effects, in order to apply them to several and different flight situation Replays, to replicate these camera moves in multiple videos.
- Camera Manager Controls Override (MSFS only)
- To complete the above features, you need easy and quick controls of the camera in MSFS. That’s why the main camera controls can be set through the simple and clear interface of FlightControlReplay ! You will be able to set your shortcuts of all Camera controls directly in FCR Options Menu ! Setting your key shortcuts here, will override the MSFS controls.

MSFS has a long list of controls, with near to endless selection windows. The goal here is to focus on the most used and simple camera controls, in a single window (our option menu). 12 camera controls visible at once are ready for key assignment ! For Prepar3D users, we still rely on the default settings controls of the sim.

More advanced settings have been also added with fine tuning of ptich / bank / heading / eyepoint velocity with only 0. 10 notch increment (instead of 10 units per notch in MSFS default settings)
- AI Traffic detection, follow, record and replay
- FCR lists all AI aircraft around you, generated by the AI Traffic of the simulator, and also the AI ghosts aircraft generated by PlayAI feature. Select one or multiple objects among them, so you can Follow, Replay and Record any of them.
- Automatic Camera Change
- Call and activate any custom cockpit camera, smartcam or other default MSFS / P3D camera by choosing a keyboard shortcut ! Setup the keyboard shortcut, that you configured in “MSFS Controls section”, inside the CameraChange Dialog and this will be be triggered at the chosen frame. When Replay reaches this frame, FCR triggers the keyboard shortcut and automatically activates the Camera Change that you set.
- In-Game Dynamic Text
- You can write Notes at any point in a Replay Flight loaded in FCR using Dynamic Text buttons that appears below the Timeline Slider. You will be able to pause a Replay Flight at a custom point into the timeline and to click DynamicText Edit button or Delete button. The User can add, modify or delete notes. These Notes will be visible in FCR User Interface, and also in the Simulator playing Replay Flight. Dynamic Text can be customized via FCR Option dialog box to show duration in Seconds.
- Take / Leave Aircraft Control Toggle
- Switch view and take control of one selected AI plane (PlayAsAI mode), or take control of your own aircraft during a Replay. You can toggle it off in order to give back controls to FlightControlReplay that returns in line with the values of the recorded flight.
- KML file import
- Replay a real life flight from FlightAware or from a friend, and load into FlightControlReplay to reproduce the flight in the simulator.
- Load Replay without loading initial Flight Situation
- With just an option box to tick, save your time. When it’s active, this option allows FlightControlReplay to load your Replay flight and it directly restores your complete flight situation settings including its weather and location at the same time. You don’t need to load in a first step your recorded flight, and as second step, separately in the simulator itself, load also your FLT file. At once, FCR software will bring all the necessary data along your Replay.
- Just Flight FS Traffic MSFS compatibility : FlightControlReplay detects, tracks, records and replays the AI Traffic nearby your position. You can even switch view to the AI aircraft position and take over their control. More info on FS Traffic MSFS click here.

HOW TO INSTALL:
Locate the Microsoft Flight Simulator installation folder
You need to find and open the folder called Community
Copy the three folders "Marine RM Litoral Combat Ship", "Marine RM Patrol Boat Mark VI", "Marine RM Destroyer DDG-143" and "Marine RM Battleship BB-55 North Carolina" you just extracted into the Community folder
Start the game and the Litoral Combat Ship, Patrol Boat Mark VI, Destroyer DDG-143 and Battleship North Carolina BB-55 ships will be in your hangar ready to sail!
HOW TO PLAY:
Start the game at the headland of some seaplane runway, put the engine on 100% and wait a few seconds for the ship to start moving. The water trails and smoke will start with the slowest speed you are on the Destroyer and Battleship. These ships do not have a reverse engine for the time being, but this will be implemented in an upcoming update. Click L to activate an overnight navigation beacon. Quickly activate and deactivate the landing gear to honk. It is possible to start anywhere in the world on water, read the last paragraph of the following section to understand how.
IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
- The hard deck on the helipad is an experimental feature. It is designed to work in online co-op play with one player piloting the ship and other players landing on the ship's helipad. This functionality is not fully proven as the SDK can prevent it from working correctly by adding a false transparency to the player's ship as a way of preventing impacts, which is annoying. The hard deck is there and will work the exact moment the game's SDK allows for direct collisions between player vehicles.
- This add-on will continue to be developed for improvements such as: Interior improvements, functional gauges, improved navigation physics and corrected lighting in Battleship. Soon all models will receive this and more updates.
- The amount of water trails is limited by Asobo for now, when this limitation is removed from the SDK boats will have more sprays on the front and sides.
- The speed of all boats is limited to less than 30kts for water stability reasons.
- When starting the departure, the ship may appear stuck in the water or sinking. This is because the SDK does not recognize the 3D model of the boat as an entire object, regardless of the contact points. For now, a solution to this is to press the "Y" KEY to enter and press it again to exit Yoke Mode to correctly position the ship in the water. This will definitely be improved soon.
- Don't start cold, a boat's starter function is unrealistic without a panel.
- Water waves can start out "hard", with a strange texture. This changes gradually during the game, when turning in any direction.
