Vessels: The Canary Islands On Sale
The Canary Islands are a Spanish archipelago nestled just 67 miles off the Northwest coast of Africa in the Atlantic Ocean. They consist of the main islands of Lanzarote, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, La Palma and Tenerife but also include the less visited destinations of La Graciosa, La Gomera and El Hierro. There is rich nautical history here too. The port of San Sebastian la Gomera was the last stopping place of Christopher Columbus on his first transatlantic voyage in 1492. Today it is a port... Today the Islas Canarias (as they are known in Spain) are a bustling tourist destination with Tenerife and Gran Canaria being busy maritime hubs for cargo and cruise shipping as well as offshore oil drilling operations. You will find all of that represented in this scenery with the ports of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria being especially alive with nautical traffic.
The scenery includes many ferries from the various operators in this area with all but one (the little Benchi Express) having helidecks that you can land on as they move from port to port. We have also included landable, moving supply ships, cruise ships, drilling ships and a semi-submersible oil platform (that is being towed) to maximise your helicopter fun (see map below for starting locations of these).

This product includes the B Mk. 2 strategic bomber, K. 2 Air-to-Air Refuelling and Maritime Radar Reconnaissance (MRR) variants that saw service with the Royal Air Force.
The aircraft has been modelled to an exceptional level of detail and features stunning 8k textures, with paint schemes covering its time in RAF service, realistic payloads (including Blue Steel, 1,000 lb bombs and bomb bay tanks) and custom ground equipment. Realistic animations include crew and bomb bay doors, Ram Air Turbine, multi-position airbrakes and the distinctive braking parachute.
The Captain and Co-Pilot positions in the cockpit are modelled with hundreds of functional switches, knobs and controls. A selection of rear crew panels are also modelled. The aircraft features complex custom-coded systems based on real-world manuals, including electrical, fuel and engine systems, and TACAN and VOR navigation. The aircraft are brought to life with wear and tear based on extensive reference photos, immersive dynamic cockpit and exterior lighting and 3D Wwise sounds. The Vulcan B Mk2 is an iconic, four-engine, delta-wing strategic bomber which saw service in the UK during the Cold War. XM655, on which this product is based, was the third-from-last Vulcan to be produced for the Royal Air Force. It was delivered in 1964 and saw service as part of the UK’s nuclear deterrent force throughout the 60s and 70s. It is now being preserved by a team of volunteers at Wellesbourne Airfield.
Following the Falklands War, six Avro Vulcan B Mk2s were converted for air-to-air refuelling as an interim solution prior to the delivery of VC10 and Tristar tanker aircraft that were due to replace the aging Victor tankers. This conversion consisted of the addition of a Hose Drum Unit (HDU) mounted in the tail cone, and three bomb-bay drum tanks. The K. 2 variants served with 50 Squadron (RAF Waddington) from 1982 to 1984.
In 1973 nine Avro Vulcan B Mk2s were converted for Maritime Radar Reconnaissance (MRR). The MRR variants flew patrols around the coast of the UK, primarily operating at high level and using the radar to monitor shipping but also flying at low level for visual identification and inspection. They had a secondary role carrying out air sampling, flying through airbourne contamination following nuclear tests and using air sampling pods mounted under each wing to collect samples for analysis. The MRR variants served with 27 Squadron (RAF Scampton) from 1973 to 1982, at which point the Nimrod took over these duties. Model

Many Global Areas Updated for Accurate Vegetation Representation
New biomes have been created to depict steppe, tundra, Australian scrublands, New Zealand vegetation, and different conifer regions. Iceland’s conifer trees were replaced with suitable vegetation. A large central part of the United States now features deciduous trees, not conifer forests. Palm trees added to many cities where there were none.
Winter Deciduous Trees
Deciduous winter trees appear for all areas where the simulator depicts deciduous trees and the winter season applies. These trees show significantly less leaves and look great in winter landscapes with or without snow.
Selectable Deciduous Tree Canopy
In addition to the default rounded canopy, you can opt for an irregular-shaped canopy for deciduous trees. This unique canopy design adds a delightful touch, enhancing the diversity of shapes among deciduous trees. Furthermore, it often results in greater color variation within the tree, enhancing the overall depth and richness of its colors.
Tree Height Adjustment
3 options are available for tree height: short, medium, and tall. Additionally, some trees have been properly sized in the app to reflect more realistic proportions, such as the massively sized default trees that are displayed in Sydney Australia.

Bucharest-Henri Coandă Airport, also known as Bucharest-Otopeni Airport (IATA: OTP, ICAO: LROP), is the main airport serving the city of Bucharest, the capital of Romania. It is named after Henri Coandă (1886-1972), an engineer, scientist and pioneer of Romanian aerodynamics. In the area where the airport is located today there was a military facility with a 1,200-metre runway, used between 1940 and 1944 by the Third Reich Air Force and then, from the end of World War II to 1965 by the Romanian ... In 1965, it became clear that Bucharest’s only civil airport, Bucharest Băneasa Airport (now Aurel Vlaicu International Airport), would no longer be sufficient to withstand the increasing air traffic, and a new airport was decided. The choice fell on the existing military structure of Otopeni: the works lasted about 4 years and focused on the construction of the passenger terminal and the extension of the runway to 3,500 meters. In 1969, the first civilian flights began. A new development occurred in 1986, with the inauguration of the second runway, of equal size and parallel to the previous one, which allowed to reach the capacity of 35 air movements per hour. In September 2004, the airport’s name was changed to Henri Coandă, a pioneer of aviation, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of civil aviation operations. In the three-year period 2008-2011 the construction of the new terminal was completed and in 2012 the construction of the new departure terminal, equipped with a new baggage handling system. Recently the construction of a new railway-metro line that connects the main railway station (Gara de Nord) with Otopeni airport. Last year the apron #2 has been completely redone, with many new parking places.
