Almeria (LEAM)
Almeria Airport is one of the main players in the tourism and business potential of the province of Almeria. Located in the heart of the Bay of Almeria, eight kilometers from the city, it is perfectly situated with the rest of the tourist destinations in the province, such as Cabo de Gata, Aguadulce, Roquetas de Mar, El Ejido or Mojacar. Located in the heart of the Bay of Almeria, eight kilometers from the city, it is perfectly situated with the rest of the tourist destinations in the province, such as Cabo de Gata, Aguadulce, Roquetas de Mar, El Ejido or Mojacar. During the 1990s, Almeria Airport grew steadily until it reached almost one million passengers in 2000. To adapt to this demand, the passenger terminal building was remodeled in 1995, in 2002 the new cargo terminal building was inaugurated and in 2009 the new departures building came into service. TDM Scenery Design have recreated this airport as close to reality as possible, high definition textures and PBR, aircraft and unique realistic objects, all of this as well as being fully optimized.

However, it still serves as Amman's main airport for general aviation, and moreover as an aviation education and training hub, and also sees freight operations. It serves as the home base for Arab Wings and Jordan International Air Cargo, additionally, the Jordan Airports Company is headquartered here.

The runway is squeezed between base and hangar buildings to the left and right and sea water at both ends. In essence it’s a smaller version of Gibraltar, which is British, too. A stunning approach, a runway that’s crossed by a road with traffic lights and surrounded by water. To complete this add-on, we have added the very remote bases of Fossil Bluff and Sky Blu even further south. Antarctica Vol. 2 - Australian Casey and Skiways
The second volume of our popular Antarctica series covers the Australian Antarctic Casey on the opposite side of the continent, right on the mainland: A region of vast glaciers extending for thousands of miles into the continent.
We have included a large area of coastal landscape with its typical penguin colonies, icebergs and – of course – a very detailed base with its helipad and a lot to discover. Take off from here using a helicopter, try to stay low above the detailed rugged terrain, ma... The second volume of our popular Antarctica series covers the Australian Antarctic Casey on the opposite side of the continent, right on the mainland: A region of vast glaciers extending for thousands of miles into the continent.
We have included a large area of coastal landscape with its typical penguin colonies, icebergs and – of course – a very detailed base with its helipad and a lot to discover. Take off from here using a helicopter, try to stay low above the detailed rugged terrain, maneuver your way through icebergs and find one of the two icebreakers operating here.
If you’re more into fixed wing operations, no matter if low and slow or high and fast, you can choose between two skiways: The Casey Skiway on the glacier a few kilometers above the base for medium distance operations or the Wilkins Aerodrome about 70 kilometers to the south – well known for its A319-115LR passenger flights (yes, that’s an Airbus on ice!) or C-17 cargo flights between here and Australia.
