La Florida Aerodrome (ICAO: SCSE and IATA: LSC) is located 6 km east of the city of La Serena, IV Region of Coquimbo, Chile (29º 54 '59' 'South latitude and 71º 11' 58 '' west longitude). This airport is of a public nature, its passenger terminal has 4,300 square meters built in the process of redesign projected for 2024.
It currently has an asphalt surface runway with a length of 1938x45 meters with a 12/30 orientation.
Scenario Features:

La Gomera Scenery
This add-on replaces the default MSFS ground textures on La Gomera with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the scenery in several ways and includes optional mesh.
1. Aerial Imagery
- Version “Premium” (8. 8 GB): very high resolution, best ratio between sharpness of textures and file size – recommended for the majority of users
- Version “Premium Plus” (28. 3 GB): ultra-high resolution – recommended for the absolute best experience
- Impro... This add-on replaces the default MSFS ground textures on La Gomera with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the scenery in several ways and includes optional mesh.
1. Aerial Imagery
- Version “Premium” (8. 8 GB): very high resolution, best ratio between sharpness of textures and file size – recommended for the majority of users
- Version “Premium Plus” (28. 3 GB): ultra-high resolution – recommended for the absolute best experience
- Improvements over the default MSFS ground textures include:
- realistic manual color correction that brings La Gomera to life
- sharper image with more visible details (e. g. rock structure)
- no green tint, especially no green roads and no green sand
- no clouds visible on the ground
- higher resolution
You can decide which version you would like to download and use. You can switch between versions anytime.
2. Mesh (DEM)
- 3 versions with resolutions of 2 m, 4 m and 10 m – you choose the best for your hardware and graphics settings
- Mesh for the airport is included and has been adjusted to eliminate bumps on the ground
- Please note: This mesh is an experimental feature. While scenery and textures are very FPS friendly, this mesh uses more hardware resources, especially the 2 m version. All of the above screenshots were taken with the 2 m mesh add-on.
Aerial imagery and mesh are put together as separate add-ons and can be used independently of one another.
3. Scenery

- added docks and more than 150 hand-placed boats, ships, yachts and one cruise ship to the ports
- Appropriate Vegetation
- added palm trees and other typical vegetation to coastal cities
- improved vegetation to match with the aerial imagery (e. g. bushes instead of trees in rocky areas)
- removed incorrectly placed trees along the coast
- Other Improvements
- removed incorrectly placed buildings on top of lakes and in the forests
- added POI markers for 5 landmarks and 2 cities
Compatibility
This add-on is compatible with the airport by Sim-Wings (no changes to the files necessary anymore).
La Palma Scenery
This add-on replaces the default MSFS ground textures on La Palma with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the scenery in several ways and includes optional mesh.

- placed one container ship and a crane in the cargo area of Puerto de Santa Cruz
- placed one cruise ship with night lighting and a helipad that you can land on in Puerto de Santa Cruz
- Enhanced Night Lighting
- added night lighting to all ports and piers
- hotel areas, pools, plazas, sports facilities, etc. are now illuminated at night
- Appropriate Vegetation
- added palm trees and other typical vegetation to the cities
- improved vegetation to match with the aerial imagery (e. g. bushes instead of trees in rocky areas)
- removed incorrectly placed trees along the coast
- Accurate Coastline
- applied a custom water mask to match the course of the simulator's ocean water with the coastline on the aerial imagery
- beaches, rocks and other parts of the coast that were partly underwater are now completely visible giving the coastline a more defined look
- fixed the issues with water flowing up cliffs
- Other Improvements
- added 4 lighthouses (World Update 3 has to be installed for them to be visible)
- removed incorrectly placed buildings on top of fields, pools, sports facilities, etc.
- removed incorrect rivers
Aerial imagery, mesh and scenery are put together as separate add-ons and can be used independently of one another.

Lajes LPLA V2
Lajes Airport or Lajes Air Base, is a multi-use air field, home to the Portuguese Air Force Base Aérea Nº4 and Azores Air Zone Command, a United States Air Force detachment (operated by the 65th Air Base Wing of United States Air Forces in Europe), and a regional air passenger terminal located near Lajes and 15 km (9. 3 mi) northeast of Angra do Heroísmo on Terceira Island in the Azores, Portugal.
The airport terminal has been completely redone for this version, with full interior modell... Lajes Airport or Lajes Air Base, is a multi-use air field, home to the Portuguese Air Force Base Aérea Nº4 and Azores Air Zone Command, a United States Air Force detachment (operated by the 65th Air Base Wing of United States Air Forces in Europe), and a regional air passenger terminal located near Lajes and 15 km (9. 3 mi) northeast of Angra do Heroísmo on Terceira Island in the Azores, Portugal.

Some historic facts:
The Archipelago of the Azores is composed of nine volcanic islands situated in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. The Portuguese archipelago is located about 1,500 km (930 mi) west from Lisbon and about 3,900 km (2,400 mi) east from the east coast of North America. The archipelago, and economic exclusion zone, forms the Autonomous Region of the Azores, one of the two autonomous regions of Portugal. Its main industries are: agriculture, dairy farming (for cheese and butter products primarily), minor livestock ranching, fishing and tourism, which is becoming the major service activity in the region.
There are nine major Azorean islands and an islet cluster, in three main groups. These are Flores and Corvo, to the west; Graciosa, Terceira, São Jorge, Pico and Faial in the centre; and São Miguel, Santa Maria and the Formigas Reef to the east. These extend for more than 600 km (370 mi) and lie in a northwest-southeast direction. The vast extent of the islands defines an immense exclusive economic zone of 1,100,000 km2 (420,000 sq mi). The westernmost point of this area is 3,380 km (2,100 mi) from the North American continent. All of the islands have volcanic origins, although some, such as Santa Maria, have had no historical activity since the islands were settled. Mount Pico, on the island of Pico, is the highest point in Portugal, at 2,351 m (7,713 ft) in altitude. The Azores are actually the peaks of several of the tallest mountains on the planet, as measured from their base at the bottom of the ocean, breaking the surface of the Atlantic.
These 9 islands have naturally evolved into three recognizable groups located within the Azores Platform; they are:
The Eastern Group (Grupo Oriental) of São Miguel, Santa Maria and Formigas Islets
The Central Group (Grupo Central) of Terceira, Graciosa, São Jorge, Pico and Faial
The Western Group (Grupo Ocidental) of Flores and Corvo.
