Fun fact by the way . . . there has been a flight connection from Land’s End to St Mary’s since 1937, but the airfield of St Mary's was opened two years later in 1939. In the meantime, the planes landed on the golf course.
Installation runs via Aerosoft One, this requires an internet connection and an Aerosoft user account!

Lanzarote Scenery
This add-on replaces the default MSFS ground textures on Lanzarote, La Graciosa, Isla de Montaña Clara and Isla de Alegranza with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the scenery in several ways and includes optional mesh.
1. Aerial Imagery
- Version “Standard” (8. 87 GB): high resolution, best ratio between sharpness of textures and file size – recommended for the majority of users
- Version "Premium" (18. 5 GB): high resolution and ultra-hig... This add-on replaces the default MSFS ground textures on Lanzarote, La Graciosa, Isla de Montaña Clara and Isla de Alegranza with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the scenery in several ways and includes optional mesh.
1. Aerial Imagery
- Version “Standard” (8. 87 GB): high resolution, best ratio between sharpness of textures and file size – recommended for the majority of users
- Version "Premium" (18. 5 GB): high resolution and ultra-high resolution at densely populated areas (see below) – recommended if you want to fly really low over cities and beaches
- Version “Premium Plus” (31. 8 GB): very high resolution and ultra-high resolution at densely populated areas (see below) – recommended for the absolute best experience
- Improvements over the default MSFS ground textures include:
- realistic manual color correction that brings Lanzarote to life
- sharper image with more visible details (e. g. rock structure)
- no green tint, especially no green roads and no green sand
- no clouds visible on the ground
- higher resolution (depending on the version used)
- Ultra-high resolution areas of the "Premium" and "Premium Plus" versions:
- along the coast from Costa Teguise to Puerto del Carmen including Arrecife and the airport
- the whole populated area around Playa Blanca
You can decide which version you would like to download and use. You can switch between versions anytime.
2. Mesh (DEM)
- 3 versions with resolutions of 2 m, 4 m and 10 m – you choose the best for your hardware and graphics settings
- Mesh for the airport is included and has been adjusted to eliminate bumps on the ground
- Please note: This mesh is an experimental feature. While scenery and textures are very FPS friendly, this mesh uses more hardware resources, especially the 2 m version. All of the above screenshots were taken with the 2 m mesh add-on.
3. Scenery
- Upgraded Ports
- added docks and hundreds of hand-placed motorboats, sailboats, yachts, catamarans and ships to all ports
- added one container ship, cranes and containers to the cargo area of the port of Arrecife
- added one cruise ship with night lighting and a helipad that you can land on to the port of Arrecife
- added a Fred Olsen Express ferry with night lighting to the port of Playa Blanca
- Enhanced Night Lighting
- added night lighting to all ports and piers
- increased the density of night lighting in all cities
- hotel pools, plazas, sports facilities, etc. are now illuminated at night
- Appropriate Vegetation
- added palm trees and other typical vegetation to all cities
- improved vegetation to match with the aerial imagery (e. g. no trees on the lava landscape)
- removed incorrectly placed trees along the coast
- Accurate Coastline
- applied a custom water mask to match the course of the simulator's ocean water with the coastline on the aerial imagery
- beaches, islets, sandbars and other parts of the coast that were partly underwater are now completely visible giving the coastline a more defined look
- improved visibility of the shallow water areas at Playa Caleton Blanco
- Other Improvements
- added exact models of all lighthouses with animations
- added the Arrecife Gran Hotel
- added two windmills near Las Caletas
- removed large warehouses in hotel areas
- removed incorrectly placed buildings on top of fields, pools, sports facilities, etc.
- fixed an elevation issue at El Lago Verde
Aerial imagery, mesh and scenery are put together as separate add-ons and can be used independently of one another.
Compatibility
This add-on is compatible with the incredibly detailed airport from Just Flight.
