LIVE SEASONS – CHANGE THE LANDSCAPE WHILE YOU FLY
Experience the changing seasons without restarting your flight!
With the Live Seasons feature, you can switch between eight seasonal looks:
- Winter (bare trees)
- Leaf-out
- Spring blossom
- Summer
- Early autumn
- Peak autumn
- Leaf fall
- Late autumn
Fine-tune the season using a slider or adjust how many leaves remain on deciduous trees.
Seasonal changes take effect within seconds while flying. Trees Lab automatically adjusts seasonal dates for the southern hemisphere and allows you to restore your flight's original date.
CUSTOMIZE TREE SIZE AND FOREST DENSITY
Create forests that match your personal preferences.
Adjust the height and amount of vegetation independently for four categories:
- Broadleaf trees
- Conifers
- Palms
- Shrubs
Make conifers twice as tall, create more open woodland, increase forest density or reduce vegetation in selected categories.
Global controls also let you adjust overall tree size, forest density and town vegetation density.
DESIGN YOUR OWN SEASONAL COLOURS
Take control of when and how trees change throughout the year.
Trees Lab allows you to:
- Make autumn colours appear earlier or later.
- Increase or decrease autumn colour intensity.
- Adjust spring leaf-out timing.
- Change blossom timing.
- Fine-tune base leaf colours.
- Create different seasonal behaviour for different tree categories.
Create vivid autumn forests while keeping conifers green, delay spring vegetation or experiment with different seasonal appearances.
CREATE, SAVE AND SWITCH BETWEEN CUSTOM PRESETS
Design your own forest configurations and save them as reusable sets.
Create unlimited custom looks such as:
- Giant Conifers
- Early Fiery Autumn
- Gentle Autumn
- Ancient Forest
- Late Spring
- Blossom Time
- Open Parkland
Activate a saved set whenever you want to change the appearance of your simulator.
Only one set is active at a time, making it easy to switch between different forest styles.
EXPERIMENTAL TEXTURE LAB
For users who enjoy experimenting, Trees Lab also includes a Texture Lab.
Explore the simulator's vegetation textures and experiment with seasonal recolouring, including autumn, golden leaves, red maple, spring, frost and other effects.
Texture Lab can create recoloured leaf textures and organize them into sets.
Please note that Texture Lab is an experimental feature and is still being tested.
SAFE AND REVERSIBLE
Trees Lab is designed to work without modifying the simulator's original files.
Custom vegetation packages are stored separately in the MSFS Community folder.
You can deactivate your custom sets and restart the simulator to return to the default vegetation.

Live Seasons requires a SimConnect connection. Other customization features work without SimConnect.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Changes made using saved tree sets require restarting Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Live Seasons changes can be applied during a flight without restarting the simulator.
Trees Lab modifies seasonal timing and intensity through the simulator's vegetation data. Exact autumn leaf colours cannot currently be selected directly.
The simulator does not support falling-leaf animations. The leaf-loss control adjusts how bare the trees appear.
Trees Lab may conflict with other add-ons that modify the same vegetation files. For best results, avoid activating conflicting forest modifications simultaneously.

The TrueCockpit Premium Panel is designed to work with the Fenix A320/319/321 in MSFS. It provides a comprehensive set of controls that allow you to interact with the aircraft systems directly from your desktop.

Keep your favourite aircraft and liveries at the front of their selection lists, and use livery search to quickly find the one you want. Save airports and helipads as favourites, with a shared list available from the Departure, Arrival and location search bars. Your favourites are remembered between sessions, keeping frequently used aircraft and destinations close at hand.
Aircraft configuration becomes more convenient with cards showing your selected variant and livery, dedicated selection buttons and direct access to fuel and payload settings. A compact identification panel brings your registration, call sign, flight number and heavy designation together, while skipping the configuration splash makes moving between selection screens quicker.
Additional dropdowns on the Free Flight screen provide access to aircraft configuration and flight conditions, including weather, time, air traffic and multiplayer settings. The original buttons remain available for opening the full menus.
