With a huge collection of hand-crafted points of interest, thousands of carefully placed models, enhanced waterfront areas, improved night lighting, detailed landmarks, vessels, animated features and custom locations to discover, Perth Landmarks adds the depth and atmosphere needed to make the city feel alive in your simulator.
A more complete Perth experience Perth Landmarks has been created to make the city more recognisable, more detailed and more enjoyable to explore from the air. Key areas across Perth have been enhanced with custom modelling and hand-placed detail, helping to better capture the real-world character of the city. From the CBD and Elizabeth Quay to Fremantle, Matagarup Bridge, Royal Perth Hospital, Langley Park and the surrounding marine areas, this package gives pilots more to see, more to use and more reasons to keep coming back.
Whether you are flying along the river, arriving into the city, exploring by helicopter, or setting up the perfect screenshot, Perth now feels like a proper destination. Built for day, night and everything in between Perth is stunning from the air, and this package has been designed to make that experience even better at any time of day. By day, the city is filled with more recognisable landmarks, hand-placed scenery and detailed waterfront areas. By night, enhanced lighting, animated features and illuminated landmarks bring a completely different atmosphere to the city.
Elizabeth Quay has received particular attention, with detailed scenery, animated lighting, billboards and selected MSFS 2024 walk mode support, giving you another way to experience one of Perth’s most iconic areas. More than just landmarks Perth Landmarks is built to add meaningful places to fly around, land at and explore. A highly detailed Royal Perth Hospital model is included, complete with a landable helipad, making it a great addition for helicopter pilots and emergency-service style operations. The Fremantle Docks area has also been enhanced with custom port detail, improved marine areas and vessels, and the AVWest Heliport Hangar has been included with time-controlled animation, opening at 8:00 AM and closing at 6:00 PM local simulator time.
You’ll also find a detailed Matagarup Bridge with animated lighting, improved waterfront scenery, and the included Langley Park Airstrip, giving you even more ways to enjoy Perth from the cockpit. Compatible with World Update Australia Perth Landmarks is compatible with the Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update Australia content. To get the intended experience, you will need to use the simulator’s Package Re-order Tool and ensure the Australian POIs package is placed above Perth Landmarks in the package order list. This allows the scenery to work correctly alongside the World Update Australia content while still giving you the enhanced Perth experience included with this package. A special tribute Included within the scenery is a memorial under the big Australian flag for our good friend Milo Taylor. It is a small but meaningful inclusion and something we are incredibly proud to have as part of Perth Landmarks.

Version 2. 0 is here! You asked and we listened, after hours of work we are happy to announce that we have bought Townsville City to the standard that you expect from the team here at Impulse. Many new models have been added, and any model that was not fully remodelled has also been retextured bringing it in line with the product standard that we have stuck to since the release of YSCB. We also used the latest imaging to create areas that did not exist yet in the simulator to create the most up-to-date landmarks area that we could.
