The airport is situated 18. 5 kilometres (11. 5 mi) northwest of the city and 1 kilometre (0. 62 mi) south of the border with Peru, next to the village of Villa Frontera.
This project is based on the new terminal design, which is currently under renovation, and includes a detailed recreation of the airport’s main facilities, such as the passenger terminal, control tower, fire station (SSEI), DGAC sector buildings, and surrounding infrastructure. The scenery features updated architectural details, redesigned terminal areas, custom jetways, improved runway lighting, and enhanced PBR textures for buildings, taxiways, and the runway, aiming to provide a more realistic and immersive experience.
New in Version 3:
-
Now fully compatible with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
-
Performance optimizations for smoother operation.
-
Enhanced exterior modeling and improved airport surroundings.
-
Terminal exterior updated to reflect the latest real-world design, as construction works are nearing completion.
-
Runway extended in accordance with the latest navigation charts.
-
Updated runway designation (previously 02–20, now 03–21).
Note:
In the MSFS 2024 version, part of the terminal interior has been temporarily simplified compared to MSFS 2020, retaining only the boarding area and the Pacific Club VIP lounge.
This was required due to the stricter performance constraints of MSFS 2024 scenery rendering.
The developer does not rule out reintroducing additional interior areas in the near future, depending on performance margins.
