Introducing "Real Effects" - Elevate Your Flight Simulator Experience to Unprecedented Realism!
This package adds aerodynamic and atmospheric-driven visual effects to your aircraft, based on similar real world conditions.
Key Features:
1. Engine Intake Vortices: Experience the sheer power of your aircraft's engines as they generate intricate intake vortices. Watch in amazement as the atmosphere responds dynamically to your throttle adjustments, creating mesmerizing spirals of condensing air from wet surfaces that showcase the raw energy under your control.
2. Saint Elmo's Fire: Encounter the rare and captivating phenomenon of Saint Elmo's Fire as static electricity dances along your aircraft's windscreen during thunderstorms. It's a stunning visual spectacle that will make every stormy flight an unforgettable experience.
3. Engine Strake Vortices: The true-to-life representation of engine strake vortices adds another layer of authenticity to your flight experience. Witness the complex aerodynamics at play as your aircraft maneuvers through the skies, leaving behind distinct vortices that interact with the surrounding air.
4. Wing Condensation: Marvel at the realism of your aircraft's wings as they slice through the air, causing condensation to form along their edges in humid environments. This dynamic effect responds to changes in altitude, temperature, and humidity, creating a visual spectacle that represents real-world flying conditions.
5. Engine Intake Condensation: Engage your engines and witness condensation forming within the intakes, providing a visual testament to the power and performance of your aircraft. These realistic intake effects change with your engine's thrust, adding to the immersion.
6. Flap Trailing Vortices: Extend your flaps and experience the aerodynamic magic as trailing vortices swirl and dissipate in your wake while approaching to land. "Real Effects" simulates the intricate flow dynamics associated with flap deployment, making your maneuvers visually authentic.
7. Engine Jet Blast for Rain and Snow: In adverse weather conditions, your aircraft's engine exhaust becomes a spectacle of its own. "Real Effects" delivers jet blast effects that interact with rain and snow, creating a mesmerizing blend of precipitation and engine power.
8. Smoke for Overheated Brakes: Push your aircraft to its limits, and you'll witness the realism of smoke billowing from overheated brakes. This effect serves as a warning, highlighting the consequences of intense braking at heavy weights and hot temperatures.
9. Engine Fires: Experience the intensity of engine fires in your cockpit, a realistic consequence of pushing your aircraft beyond its limits. Navigate the challenges of handling emergency situations with this true-to-life effect.
10. Engine and APU Start-Up Smoke: Embrace the sight of jet fuel combusting into engine power as the engines and APU start up, as if in real life.
11. Enhanced Three-Dimensional Landing Lights: Visualize the stunning illumination of the high-powered landing lights as you fly through clouds.
12. Contrails that truly display the spiraling airmass and wake turbulence vortices drifting in the aircraft wake.

Introducing "Real Effects Plus" - The ultimate effects package for both inside and outside of the cockpit. Effects that compliment any style of simmer, Real Effects Plus is sure to impress. There are no "On/Off" effects, each effect has been programmed with many different variables that cause a reaction under varying aerodynamic and atmospheric conditions. Created by a real pilot that has over 2,000 hours in multiengine jet aircraft, this add-on draws from real-world aviation experience.
Cockpit Effects:
-Saint Elmo's Fire (Windscreen Static): Replicating the dangers of flying near thunderstorms, this beautiful display of static electricity flashing on your cockpit windows is a sight to be seen.
-Windscreen Bug Splatter: Yes, we did! Why bug splatter? Because bug splatter is a real, and real pilots have to squint through a dirty windscreen every time they fly. Ever tried to see a narrow runway with the setting sun blasting the bug smashed windscreen? Go ahead, airplanes are nicknamed "Bug Smashers" for good reason. Flying insects are most active in warm temperatures around sunset, you'll certainly see more bug splatter on your windscreen then.
Engine Effects:
-Engine Intake Vortices: Reactive to engine power, humidity, airspeed, temperature, air density, and surface moisture. When the conditions are right, these miniature tornados are spectacular to watch as they pour into the engine.
-Engine Intake Condensation: Reactive to engine power, humidity, airspeed, temperature, air density, and altitude.
-Jet Blast: Reactive to your engine speed. Jet engines are powerful, contaminated surfaces (water and snow) bring this power to light.
-Reverse Thrust: On a wet or snowy runway, watch as thrust is rapidly switched directions when your engine enters reverse thrust.
-Engine Fires: Set through your MSFS Aircraft Failure Customization menu. When is the last time you had to land single engine?
-Contrails: Out with the old, in with the new. Say goodbye to the default contrails. Our contrails depict the rotating wake turbulence behind an aircraft, and they look great.
-Engine and APU Startup Smoke: Jet engine starts nearly always produce smoke during startup. Excess fuel is sprayed into the engine during the ignition stage, and it comes out of the exhaust as smoke.
-Engine and APU Cold Starts: When the environment is cold enough, aircraft require cold weather startup procedures to prevent engine damage. Marvel at your engine and APU startup exhaust with this effect.
Airframe Effects:
-Wing Condensation: Reactive to aircraft pitch, humidity, airspeed, temperature, air density, and altitude. High pressure below the wing to the low pressure above the wing is visually stunning when the conditions are right.
-Flap Trailing Vortices: Reactive to flap angle, aircraft pitch, humidity, airspeed, temperature, air density, and altitude. No, this is not a fuel leak, it is aerodynamics at work. These trails of moisture look even better from an aircraft cabin window.
-Brake Smoke: If your brakes are smoking, you've got hot brakes. A heavy aircraft, hard braking, and hot temperatures will cause this.
-Volumetric Landing Lights: Too dark to see if you're in a cloud while flying? Turn on your landing lights. If you see your light beams illuminating the cloud, you've found your answer. Real pilots do this routinely, especially when concerned about icing. Default MSFS landing lights will not do this, but our effect will.
-Tail Strike, Wingtip Strike, Engine Nacelle Strike: Gusty crosswinds are a recipe for a wingtip or nacelle strike. Watch your landing attitude, don't strike the tail! A plane spotter will see the effects of your aluminum scraping, thanks to this effect.
-Fuel Vent Dripping: Airplane fuel systems all have vents. Warm temperature causes fuel to expand. If your fuel tanks are full and they warm up in the heat, fuel is going overboard. There's plenty of airport ramp stains to prove this. This effect does this, though it does not come with a fuel spill cleanup kit.

Runway Status Lights
Runway Status Lights are an essential FAA system embedded in the pavement of runways and taxiways, designed to automatically signal pilots and vehicle operators when it is unsafe to enter, cross, or begin takeoff. These lights, which are operational at 20 airports across the US, turn red in response to traffic, providing direct, immediate alerts without the need for input from controllers.

These lights, which are operational at 20 airports across the US, turn red in response to traffic, providing direct, immediate alerts without the need for input from controllers.
This modification simulates the FAA Runway Status Light System and includes Runway Entrance Lights and Takeoff Hold Lights. The lights will remain illuminated (indicating unsafe to enter the runway) until cleared for takeoff by the in-game ATC system, at which point the lights will extinguish (indicating safe to enter the runway).
This modification works with default and most 3rd party airports.
