The airport has a passenger terminal capable of serving 700,000 passengers / year, being one of the few airports in the interior to operate daily with flights from the three largest Brazilian airlines: Azul, Gol, LATAM and Voepass to the cities of Belo Horizonte, São Paulo and Salvador. It is able to receive medium-sized aircraft such as Boeing 737-800 and Airbus A320.
