Some notes on known issues/bugs:
This has been a very challenging scenery to recreate as Niagara Falls sits right in-between two world updates (USA & Canada). This along with the fact that it is where two separate photogrammetry areas meet. Consequently this means that in some areas I have been unable to adjust the terrain with any of the current available SDK tools.
- Horseshoe Falls has a terrain LOD bug at the base which clears as you get closer.
- Terrain humps located adjacent to the Skylon Tower (Part of the Canada World Update) and on either side of the Rainbow International Bridge (USA Update II)
- Animated train sinks slightly into the terrain at the curved section of the track.
IMPORTANT!
Both the USA updates I and II, along with the Canada World Update are mandatory for this scenery to display correctly.
I have designed the scene in a way that it integrates with Photogrammetry, therefore photogrammetry must be 'ON' for the scenery to display correctly.

Pico Island LPPI
The Archipelago of the Azores is composed of nine volcanic islands situated in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean. The Portuguese archipelago is located about 1,500 km (930 mi) west from Lisbon and about 3,900 km (2,400 mi) east from the east coast of North America. The archipelago, and economic exclusion zone, forms the Autonomous Region of the Azores, one of the two autonomous regions of Portugal. Its main industries are: agriculture, dairy farming (for cheese and butter products primarily), minor livestock ranching, fishing and tourism, which is becoming the major service activity in the region.
There are nine major Azorean islands and an islet cluster, in three main groups. These are Flores and Corvo, to the west; Graciosa, Terceira, São Jorge, Pico and Faial in the centre; and São Miguel, Santa Maria and the Formigas Reef to the east. These extend for more than 600 km (370 mi) and lie in a northwest-southeast direction. The vast extent of the islands defines an immense exclusive economic zone of 1,100,000 km2 (420,000 sq mi). The westernmost point of this area is 3,380 km (2,100 mi) from the North American continent. All of the islands have volcanic origins, although some, such as Santa Maria, have had no historical activity since the islands were settled. Mount Pico, on the island of Pico, is the highest point in Portugal, at 2,351 m (7,713 ft) in altitude. The Azores are actually the peaks of several of the tallest mountains on the planet, as measured from their base at the bottom of the ocean, breaking the surface of the Atlantic.
These 9 islands have naturally evolved into three recognizable groups located within the Azores Platform; they are:
The Eastern Group (Grupo Oriental) of São Miguel, Santa Maria and Formigas Islets
The Central Group (Grupo Central) of Terceira, Graciosa, São Jorge, Pico and Faial
The Western Group (Grupo Ocidental) of Flores and Corvo.
Pico Island (Ilha do Pico, in Portuguese), is an island in the Central Group of the Portuguese Azores noted for its eponymous volcano, Ponta do Pico, which is the highest mountain in Portugal, the Azores, and the highest elevation of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge. In the tradition of the Portuguese poet, Raul Brandão, Pico is referred to as the Ilha Preta ("Black Island"), for its black volcanic earth, responsible for its UNESCO-designated historical vineyards that allowed the development of the island.
The island is 17. 5 km south of São Jorge and just 7 km east of Faial, in the Cental Group of islands, an area that is colloquially known as o Triangulo (The Triangle). Pico is 46 kilometers long, and at its maximum extent about 16 kilometers wide, rising from its center to the west in the summit of the stratovolcano of Pico; making it the second largest of the Azores islands. Along the central plain of volcano cones to the eastern coast the landscape is pitted with the remnants of craters and lake-filled cones, and dominated by the ancient volcano of Topo.

Aberdeen Airport (EGPD), is located in Dyce, a suburb of Aberdeen, Scotland, has a rich history dating back to its beginnings in the early 20th century.
Aberdeen Airport was officially opened on May 30, 1934, it was a grass airstrip located in Dyce. The airport was primarily used for military purposes during this period.
During World War II, Aberdeen Airport played a significant role as a Royal Air Force (RAF) base. It served as a key location for RAF Coastal Command, hosting various squadrons and contributing to maritime patrol and anti-submarine warfare efforts in the North Sea. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, Aberdeen Airport continued to expand its infrastructure to meet the growing demand for air travel. New terminals, runways, and navigation equipment were added, enhancing the airport's capacity and efficiency. The airport also saw an increase in international flights, particularly to destinations in Europe.
Today, Aberdeen Airport serves as a vital transportation hub for the northeast of Scotland, facilitating both domestic and international air travel. It plays a crucial role in supporting the region's economy, particularly in industries such as oil and gas, tourism, and commerce. With ongoing developments and upgrades, Aberdeen Airport remains an essential gateway for travellers visiting Scotland and a key asset for the local community. Aberdeen is often referred to as the "Oil Capital of Europe" due to its significant role in the offshore oil and gas sector. Many oil and gas companies operating in the North Sea basin have their operational bases in and around Aberdeen. Helicopters are the primary mode of transportation for personnel travelling to and from offshore installations such as oil rigs and platforms. Several helicopter operators, including Bristow Helicopters, CHC Helicopters, NHV and Babcock Mission Critical Services Offshore, provide scheduled flights between Aberdeen Airport and offshore installations.
EGPD Aberdeen has one main runway for fixed wing aircraft which 16/34 at 1953M long. There are addition runways for helicopter operation, but generally only runway 23 is used for helicopter approaches, in which it as a 6' HAPI guidance lights.
Our scenery is made with HD photographic images that uses PBR materials. With high detail models researched and based on the real airport, including both large and small details to enhance your flight SIM experience. With the advantages of the MSFS engine, we can now bring you sloping runways and enhanced lighting effects not previously possible with other simulators. In addition to airport scenery, we also include general aviation static aircraft scenery to complement and enhance the airport, but will not affect or clash with AI traffic. The scenery is based on the airport as it was in 2023, and is optimized for the new MS flight sim.
