- You can select only External, only Internal, or let in Automatic for both kind of views to be cycled during Replay
- Ghost Live (MSFS + P3D)
- Formation Flying has never been that easy ever, 1 click activation.
- No need of a prior Recording, no need of a Replay.
- Just Fly Live and get an AI Pilot duet to fly with you, at the position and distance of your preference with the same aircraft as yours
- Landing Touchdown report (MSFS + P3D)
- It displays your vertical speed and airspeed so you can monitor the flight data and progress your flying skills.
- Crash to Desktop recovery
- Every 40 seconds, FlightControlReplay saves a recovery file to let you restart the flight in the last known position before the crash.
- MP4 Video Recorder
- Record a MP4 compressed video rendered with frame by frame technology of FCR for a smooth video whatever the FPS you had in the sim.
- PlayAI Formation Flying in Replay
- Simulate formation flight during your flight replay. Your recorded flight path is replayed as AI Traffic. Add as many aircraft as you want : You can manage up to 5 AI aircraft to replay your flight path as AI Traffic with each FCR instance. And reach unlimited traffic with AI Aircraft by using more than one instance of FCR addon at the same time. You can choose and play your preferred Recorded Flight as AI Traffic. You have all the options available as in standard playing mode, to change the simulation rate on the fly or via the Timeline slider of the User interface to choose exactly where your AI Traffic can start his flight. Switch View and Aircraft Control are new options made possible in PlayAsAI mode so can watch one selected AI aircraft, and you can decide to take control of this AI aircraft too, at anytime during Replay.
- Re-Live Instant Replay to resume a flight from any instant during Replay
- Rewind and play again ! While flying, using FlightControlReplay in InstantReplay mode allows to go backward over the last 2 minutes of the User flight. Move the Timeline Slider backward, to the left, and you will display your last seconds of flight. Whenever you want, from any Yellow Slider point, you can resume your flight by simply pushing the Stop Button. In case of Crash to Desktop when this mode is activated, your airplane is restored in its last known position.
- Camera Movments Record and Replay (MSFS P3D) :
- Independently from the aircraft flight situation. You can record both usual aircraft flight AND the camera movements at once in the same and unique flight situation file OR you can prefer to record ONLY the camera movements, in its respective FCR file. The simple recording of the usual aircraft flight is still possible of course.
- For example, you can use this new feature to work and record an advanced camera path, impressive camera effects, in order to apply them to several and different flight situation Replays, to replicate these camera moves in multiple videos.
- Camera Manager Controls Override (MSFS only)
- To complete the above features, you need easy and quick controls of the camera in MSFS. That’s why the main camera controls can be set through the simple and clear interface of FlightControlReplay ! You will be able to set your shortcuts of all Camera controls directly in FCR Options Menu ! Setting your key shortcuts here, will override the MSFS controls.
-
MSFS has a long list of controls, with near to endless selection windows. The goal here is to focus on the most used and simple camera controls, in a single window (our option menu). 12 camera controls visible at once are ready for key assignment ! For Prepar3D users, we still rely on the default settings controls of the sim.
-
More advanced settings have been also added with fine tuning of ptich / bank / heading / eyepoint velocity with only 0. 10 notch increment (instead of 10 units per notch in MSFS default settings)
- AI Traffic detection, follow, record and replay
- FCR lists all AI aircraft around you, generated by the AI Traffic of the simulator, and also the AI ghosts aircraft generated by PlayAI feature. Select one or multiple objects among them, so you can Follow, Replay and Record any of them.
- Automatic Camera Change
- Call and activate any custom cockpit camera, smartcam or other default MSFS / P3D camera by choosing a keyboard shortcut ! Setup the keyboard shortcut, that you configured in “MSFS Controls section”, inside the CameraChange Dialog and this will be be triggered at the chosen frame. When Replay reaches this frame, FCR triggers the keyboard shortcut and automatically activates the Camera Change that you set.
- In-Game Dynamic Text
- You can write Notes at any point in a Replay Flight loaded in FCR using Dynamic Text buttons that appears below the Timeline Slider. You will be able to pause a Replay Flight at a custom point into the timeline and to click DynamicText Edit button or Delete button. The User can add, modify or delete notes. These Notes will be visible in FCR User Interface, and also in the Simulator playing Replay Flight. Dynamic Text can be customized via FCR Option dialog box to show duration in Seconds.
- Take / Leave Aircraft Control Toggle
- Switch view and take control of one selected AI plane (PlayAsAI mode), or take control of your own aircraft during a Replay. You can toggle it off in order to give back controls to FlightControlReplay that returns in line with the values of the recorded flight.
- KML file import
- Replay a real life flight from FlightAware or from a friend, and load into FlightControlReplay to reproduce the flight in the simulator.
- Load Replay without loading initial Flight Situation
- With just an option box to tick, save your time. When it’s active, this option allows FlightControlReplay to load your Replay flight and it directly restores your complete flight situation settings including its weather and location at the same time. You don’t need to load in a first step your recorded flight, and as second step, separately in the simulator itself, load also your FLT file. At once, FCR software will bring all the necessary data along your Replay.
- Just Flight FS Traffic MSFS compatibility : FlightControlReplay detects, tracks, records and replays the AI Traffic nearby your position. You can even switch view to the AI aircraft position and take over their control. More info on FS Traffic MSFS click here.
- XMapsy compatibility : KML file exported from this EFB connector will be directly imported at once into FlightControlReplay, ready for Replay or Record ! More info on XMapsy click here.

Steam Gauge Overhaul - Analog Bonanza
Black Square’s Analog Bonanza brings you a completely new interior, panel and systems with the default MSFS G36 Bonanza exterior model, including added tip tanks. This product contains both normally aspirated (A36) and turbocharged (A36TC) aircraft with an advanced reciprocating engine simulation, and features analogue instrumentation, swappable radio configurations and an overhauled electrical system with every circuit breaker, meter, switch, and knob functioning.
Black Square’s failure...
Black Square’s failure system allows for persistent wear, MTBF and scheduled failures for nearly every component in the aircraft, many with multiple different failure modes. The fully 3D gauges are modelled and coded to meticulously match their real-world counterparts, with reference to real-world manuals. No piece of equipment appears in a Black Square aircraft without a real world unit as reference.
Radio navigation systems are available from several eras of the Bonanza’s history, so users can fly without GPS via a Bendix KNS-81 RNAV system or with the convenience of a Garmin GTN 750 (PMS50 or TDS). Other radio equipment includes KX-155 NAV/COM radios, GNS 530, GNS 430, KR 87 ADF, KDI 572 DME, GTX 327 Transponder, KFC 150 Autopilot and a Bendix RDR1150XL Colour Weather Radar. A 90-page manual provides instruction on all equipment and 38 in-game checklists with control/instrument highlighting are included for normal and emergency procedures.
Primarily analogue instrumentation augmented with modern radio navigation equipment is still the most common aircraft panel configuration in the world. Challenge your piloting skills by flying IFR to minimums with a fully analogue panel and no GPS. You’ll be amazed at the level of skill and proficiency you can achieve to conquer such adversity and how it will translate to all your other flying. You also may find the analogue instrumentation much easier to read with the limited number of pixels available on a computer monitor, and even more so in VR.
NOTE: This product is an INTERIOR AND SYSTEMS OVERHAUL ONLY that makes use of the default MSFS Bonanza exterior visual model. Improvements have been made to almost all aspects of the aircraft, except the visual appearance of the exterior. All default Bonanza liveries are compatible with this product.
For more information on this product’s capabilities and a list of all included avionics and equipment, see the Detailed Description below and the extensive PDF operating manual.
Systems
Black Square’s overhauled cockpits with analogue instrumentation go far beyond a visual upgrade. Included, you will find a complete redesign of all aircraft systems to more closely match the real aircraft, with a focus on electrical systems. Also included are more accurate weight and balance, lighting systems, flight dynamics and ground handling. Enjoy features such as:
- Reciprocating engine simulation with fouling, vapour lock, flooding and backfires
- The most realistic turbocharger simulation in Microsoft Flight Simulator to date
- Completely interactable electrical system with four buses and 70 circuits
- Engine leaning optimization 'Lean Find' on EDM-800 engine monitor and status alarms
- Engine limit excursions that decrease engine health and will eventually lead to failure
- Selective state saving for radio selection, radio frequency memory, cabin aesthetics etc.
- 80+ system failures, set via in-cockpit interface. Either random, based on settable MTBF, or schedulable with optional time acceleration.
- Cabin environmental control system for heating, air conditioning, ventilation and ram air cooling. Cool things off by opening a window or watch the aircraft heat up in the sun.
- Crew/Passenger oxygen system that depletes according to pressure altitude, passenger occupancy and their weight.
- Working carbon monoxide detector
- Standby alternator and gyro logic, switches and working air conditioner condenser door
- Mathematically accurate VOR & ADF signal attenuation and noise, and remote compass gyro slaving
- Gyroscope physics simulation for electric and pneumatic gyroscopes with precession, partial failures, based on a coupled quadrature oscillator
- Voltage-based light dimming. All lights dim with battery voltage and load - an immediately recognisable effect for night-time pilots. Strobe lights cause disorienting light bounce in clouds.
Checklists
Over 350 checklist items are provided for 35+ Normal, Abnormal and Emergency procedures in textual form in the manual and in-game, using the MSFS native checklist system with control and instrument highlighting. If it’s in the checklist, it’s settable in the aircraft!
Sounds
Black Square’s Analog Bonanza features the default MSFS-native (Wwise) 3D G36 Bonanza sound package, with new custom sounds added for warnings, environmental control systems, electronics, turbocharger, engine cooling and more. The default sounds have been carefully assigned to all interactable cockpit elements for an authentic 3D spatial experience.
- Rich audio for every switch, button, lever and electrical system
- Detailed physics-based effects on engine and wind noise
- Accurately positioned 3D sound sources (best enjoyed in VR!)
Model
- Accurately modelled A36 and A36TC Bonanza interior ONLY (uses default exterior model), created from hundreds of reference photos and technical documentation
- 100% MSFS native animation code for the smoothest animations and cockpit interactions using either legacy or new cockpit interaction modes
- PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials with real-time environment reflections for superb quality and realism, and vector-graphic-like decal quality
- Detailed normal mapping for leather, fabric, plastic, stitches, scratches, carpet and tooling marks, resulting in a texture resolution of 10,000 pixels per square inch (90. 0kB)
Cockpit
- Greatly enhanced instrument panel detail compared to default aircraft with every label and marking in its place. If it appears in the real aircraft, you can interact with it!
- Custom-coded steam gauges with low-pass filtering, needle bounce and physics provide ultra-realistic and silky smooth animations like you’ve never seen before
- Carefully modelled components match the depth and character of the real instrumentation, based on reference photos, schematics and real world measurements. Unlike other expensive Flight Sim aircraft, every piece of equipment that appears in a Black Square aircraft is modelled after a real piece of aircraft equipment and will behave the same way in its primary functionality.
- Every knob, switch and button is interactable and implemented, along with its respective electrical circuitry. Turn systems on and off or pull circuit breakers to see the impact it has on your generators and battery via the analogue meters. Automatic standby generators and standby gyros are also simulated. Many pieces of equipment respond correctly to electrical configurations with warning messages and diagnostic codes.
- Fully 3D cockpit lighting technology for every gauge and panel, with ambient bounce lighting for a more immersive night-time experience that won’t leave you fumbling around in unrealistically dark spots
- 4096x4096 (4K) PBR textures on cockpit and panel for crisp instrumentation. Even see the fingerprints on instrument glass!
- Hideable yokes, adjustable sun visors and other cockpit aesthetics
Flight Dynamics
The Analog Bonanza features an improved flight model compared to the default Bonanza, with tweaks based on operator feedback and real flight data. Drag varies with cowl flap setting and air conditioning condenser scoop position. Engine damage and fouling produces a rough running engine and decreased performance.

Portland, Oregon lies on the south bank of the Columbia River and is on the Williamette River, a tributary of the Columbia River. A photo shows the area covered by this package.
The MSFS scenery is a vast improvement over previous flight sims. However bridges over large waterways, rivers or other bodies of water are very noticeable and are an eyesore destroying realism. Rkbridger packages solve that issue with bridge packages which show the bridges in their true magnificence and also improve the entire landscape, including marinas and river traffic, along the stretch of water modeled. All bridges are modeled in the correct architectural style with appropriate night lighting and with traffic flowing on the bridges.
The last bridge modeled on the Williamette River is the art deco style Oregon City Arch bridge designed by Conde McCullough and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is just down stream from the Williamette Falls and Locks which have also been improved in this package.
The Astoria-Megler Bridge and the Lewis and Clark Bridge were done by Asobo.
POIs have been placed at each model and are listed below.
Photogrammetry must be ON to ensure models integrate correctly with the sim.

This aircraft has been a three-year passion project to preserve the legacy of Starship with the generous assistance of the current Starship owners.
After a prolonged development period beginning in 1979, the first Starship entered service in 1989. Only 50 airframes were delivered to customers, and six remain airworthy today. Despite being a notable failure, Starship was one of the most groundbreaking designs ever to see production. It was the first certified canard wing aircraft, the first business aircraft with an all-composite structure, the first certified twin pusher turboprop, the first general aviation aircraft with an all-glass cockpit, and it remains one of only three civilian turboprops with a service ceiling of 41,000 feet. More so than most rare or aging aircraft, Starship is a flying monument to innovation, ambition and the price paid for being too far ahead of one's time.
Black Square’s Starship brings you one of the most technically advanced aircraft simulations for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with over 230 possible failures including new turbine engine failures, an accurate recreation of the one-of-a-kind Collins AMS-850 avionics suite and the most advanced pressurisation and cabin temperature simulations in MSFS. Avionics and instrument panel temperatures are simulated, and require proper management of cooling systems for continued operation.
Black Square’s new tablet interface lets you configure all options, manage payload, control failures, and monitor engines, electrical schematics and environmental control systems, all from within the simulator. The failure system allows for persistent wear, MTBF and scheduled failures for nearly every component in the aircraft. The Starship’s electrical system is the most accurate yet for Black Square, featuring the Starship’s implementation of the King Air triple-fed bus layout and back-up batteries for essential avionics. All systems in the Black Square Starship were created with reference to over 10,000 pages of operating handbooks, maintenance manuals, parts catalogues, and electrical schematics.
Users may choose whether to fly with modern GPS capabilities that have been added to the original AMS-850, with autopilot coupling to a GNS430 for modern approach, departure and arrival capabilities, or with only the navigational functionality of the original Starship, including VLF and Omega radio navigation. A 190-page manual provides instruction on all equipment and 62 in-game checklists with control/instrument highlighting are included for normal, abnormal and emergency procedures.
This simulation was created in partnership with real Starship owners to ensure the legacy of Starship and the operational knowledge lives on for a new generation of Starship admirers.
For more information on this aircraft's capabilities and a list of all included avionics and equipment, see the Detailed Description below. Several videos looking in detail at some of the the Starship's features are available in a YouTube Playlist and this PDF lists some Feature Highlights and useful FAQs.
You can also take a look at the extensive 190-page Operations Manual (printer-friendly version).
FEATURES OVERVIEW
Black Square’s best aircraft yet will challenge you with unapologetically realistic systems, such as…
-
190-page manual with your complete guide to flying the Black Square Starship, including systems guide, tutorials, operating limitations, performance tables and electrical schematics.
-
Tablet Interface for configuring options, payload settings, failure management and real time visualisers for engines, electrical schematics and environmental systems.
-
One-of-a-kind Collins AMS-850 '14-tube' (CRT) avionics suite and associated line-replaceable-unit failure logic, quirks, eccentricities and never-seen-again features of the first all-glass panel cockpit and flight management system in a business aircraft.
-
Very Low Frequency (VLF) and Omega radio navigation systems from the pre-GPS era. Configure the aircraft to tune stations on the other side of the globe, and manage six DME receivers to maintain accurate position information in a time before GPS.
-
Avionics and instrument panel temperature simulation require you to properly manage the equipment cooling systems on the aircraft, or else be faced with electronics and display failures that will necessitate reversionary modes and hardware redundancy.
-
230+ random, scheduled or performance-triggered failures, settable via the tablet interface, including engine damage, compatible with third party UIs and instructor stations.
-
Fully simulated environmental control and pressurisation system for heating, air conditioning, ventilation and ram air cooling. Cool things off by opening a door or watch the aircraft heat up in the sun. Monitor via the new tablet interface.
-
NEW terrain and weather radar technology creates a functioning terrain radar without the use of WASM modules or external desktop software applications. Aircraft pitch, antenna position, transceiver gain, precipitation rate and altitude all influence the radar depiction.
-
Completely simulated electrical system, with 170+ circuit breakers and failures.
-
NEW functional windshield wipers clear rain with improved realistic visuals.
-
Improved turboprop dynamics, including (ITT, TRQ, Ng, FF, FP), hot starts, residual heat, and exhaust back pressure, P2. 5 HP and LP valve simulation and fuel-oil heat exchanger.

- Carbon Monoxide leaks are possible and can be detected with the CO detector.
- State saving for fuel, radio selection, radio frequency memory, cabin aesthetics etc.
- Crew/Passenger oxygen depletes according to pressure altitude and passenger occupancy.
- Ultra-custom dynamic registration number system for livery creators.
Checklists
Over 600 checklist items are provided for 62 Normal, Abnormal and Emergency procedures in textual form in the manual and in-game, using the MSFS native checklist system with control and instrument highlighting. If it’s in the checklist, it’s settable in the aircraft!
Sounds
Black Square’s Starship features a custom soundset created by Boris Audio Works, recorded from the real aircraft. High quality engine and cockpit sounds will immerse you in the simulation. Sounds such as engine starting are not mere recordings, but instead many layered sounds, constructed based on the underlying simulation.
Flight Dynamics
The Starship features a flight model with performance to match the real-world aircraft, based on real Starship owner feedback and in-flight data. Engine and aerodynamic performance should be within 2% of POH values, though no two engines are ever the same. The flight model uses the most up-to-date features available in MSFS, such as CFD propeller and stall physics, and SU15 improved ground handling and flexible tyre physics. Engine damage and fouling produces a rough-running engine and decreased performance.
