Belfast International Airport is the main Airport for the city of Belfast, Northern Ireland. The majority of flights from Belfast International are operated by easyJet, Northern Ireland's biggest airline and Jet2. It features flights to many European cities and lots of leisure destinations.
There’s also a variety of cargo routes to and from Belfast, since it's also a big cargo hub of Northern Ireland.

The airfield is shared with the Joint Helicopter Command Flying Station, Aldergrove and is considered home by many wild Gazelles that are based there. The area was replicated in great detail and features three helicopter-dedicated aprons.

Welcome to George Best Belfast City Airport (EGAC). Not to be confused with Belfast International Airport (EGAA) which is 15 miles to the west. This City airport is right in the heart of Belfast, close to the docks, the Exhibition centre and the Titanic museum. Directly opposite is the famous original Shorts of Belfast factory complex which latter became the 'Bombardier' factory but has now changed hands again to 'Spirit Aerospace'

Belfast City airport opened in 1938 and was called Sydenham Airport. It was the main airport at the time for Belfast, but war was too soon changed how it was used. During the war, it was named HMS Gadwall (also known as RNAS Belfast or RNAS Sydenham). Unlike other UK airports, it remained in RAF or RNAS service right up until 1978, carrying the name RAF Belfast. After 1978 it was then purely used by Shorts aircraft manufacturers.
In 1983, it started to attract interest from airlines as a true airport again, and various routes were started up. In 2001 a new modern terminal was build and continued to expand. Today many airlines fly from Belfast City including Flybe(version2), British Airways, EasyJet, Ryanair and Aer Lingus. Ryanair, have since moved away due to the pandemic, but may return at some point.

With the advantages of the MSFS engine, we can now bring you sloping runways and enhanced lighting effects not previously possible with other simulators. The scenery is based on the airport as it was in 2022, and is optimized for the new MS flight sim.
