Just Flight are excited to bring you all four production variants of the F28: the Mk 1000 to the Mk 4000. Announced in 1962, the F28 Mk 1000 first flew in 1967 and entered airline service in 1969. The Mk 2000, 3000 and 4000 variants followed in the 1970s and featured increases in fuselage length and wingspan. Production ended in 1987. The aircraft proved to be popular and entered airline service around the world, with a small number of military operators still flying the type into the mid-2020s. The Just Flight F28 Professional features incredibly detailed models with 4K and 8K textures for the highest possible texture detail and clarity. Realistic animations include dynamic wing-flex, all passenger, service and cargo doors, and the distinctive lift dumpers and tail-mounted airbrake. In the cockpit, the Captain, Co-Pilot and jump seat positions are modelled, with every switch, knob and lever animated and functional. A highly detailed and accessible passenger cabin and galley are included and include fully interactable forward galley controls for door operation, cabin lights, cabin-to-cockpit calls, cabin temperature and even a music system! The aircraft features complex custom-coded systems based on real-world FCOMs, including hydraulic, electrical, fuel and pressurisation systems. EGPK - Glasgow Prestwick Airport
Glasgow Prestwick Airport, located in Prestwick, South Ayrshire, Scotland, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in the early 1930s.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport, located in Prestwick, South Ayrshire, Scotland, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in the early 1930s.
Early Years (1910s-1940s):
The first time aircraft were recorded on the site of Prestwick airport was in 1913. However, Glasgow Prestwick Airport was officially opened in 1935, initially serving as a base for British Transatlantic flights. It played a crucial role during World War II as a military airfield and served as a training base for Royal Air Force (RAF) pilots. During the war, the airport was a significant transatlantic gateway, with many American military personnel passing through on their way to Europe.
Post-War Period (1940s-1950s):
The site was used as a base for US aircraft deliveries. Scottish Aviation Ltd began production of aircraft at Prestwick - a role which was upheld until 1998 under British Aerospace
The airport resumed civilian operations and continued to serve as an important international gateway. It was one of the first airports in the UK to offer transatlantic flights to destinations like New York.
Expansion and Commercial Development (1960s-1970s): During this period Prestwick was also home RNAS Gannet on the North East side operating the UKs SAR, which has now been taken over by Bristows.
Glasgow Prestwick Airport saw significant expansion and modernization during the 1960s and 1970s. The runway was extended to accommodate larger aircraft, and the terminal facilities were upgraded. It became a popular choice for charter flights, especially to European holiday destinations.
Privatization and Commercial Challenges (1980s-1990s):
In 1983, the airport was privatized and sold to Stagecoach Group, a Scottish transportation company. During this period, the airport faced financial challenges and changes in ownership. Prestwick as a Hub for Low-Cost Carriers
(2000s-2010s):
In the early 2000s, Prestwick Airport became known for its role as a hub for low-cost carriers, most notably Ryanair. The airport offered flights to various European destinations, making it popular among budget-conscious travellers.
It was rebranded as "Glasgow Prestwick International Airport" to emphasize its accessibility to Glasgow, although it is located about 32 miles southwest of Glasgow's city center.
Decline and Attempts at Revival:
In the later 2010s, the airport experienced a decline in passenger numbers, and its financial situation became increasingly challenging. Efforts were made to attract new airlines and investments, but the airport struggled to maintain its previous level of activity. The old BAe site on the north side was purchased by Spirit Aerospace, and makes parts for aircraft around the world.
Current Status (2020s):
Glasgow Prestwick Airport is still operational, but its future remained uncertain. The Scottish government had been involved in discussions about its ownership and potential redevelopment. Prestwick has been established as a transit stop for Military aircraft, C17 Globemaster III have become a common site in the Ayrshire countryside, alongside Ryanair flights to holiday destinations. #
Our scenery is made with HD photographic images that uses PBR materials. We’ve been steadily working on an all new way to create airplanes called “Accu-Sim 2. 0”. Our long time customers know Accu-Sim well as it’s been powering our airplanes for over a decade. During that time we’ve learned a lot. While this new technology carries the same Accu-Sim name, this latest version was built brand new from a clean slate.
We are so very happy to say, we have succeeded in everything we set out to do. We didn’t cut any corners and this brand new Accu-Sim technology represents everything we dreamed of. Perhaps the biggest dream and challenge was to create a new aerodynamics system that allowed us to model how an airplane flies through the air. It’s the kind of simulation we knew was possible but wasn’t yet realized. Nobody has done anything like this before. This represents a quantum leap for us, and it’s the beginning of a whole new way of developing airplanes for flight simulation.
I decided early on the first airplane we had to simulate with Accu-Sim 2. 0 would be the Comanche 250, as this is an airplane I have owned and operated for over 10 years. It feels like a nice pair of shoes that are perfectly broken in yet still look good. During development I was continuously asking questions without acceptable answers, and our Comanche gave us every answer we asked. Owning the airplane offers tremendous advantages as you don’t need to ask permission or explain why you need to perform some odd sounding test. None of our testing was dangerous but much of it involved things nobody, including me had ever done before. There is a reason I have owned and operated a Comanche 250, N6229P for over a decade, and now through Accu-Sim 2. 0, you can better understand why. ”

S. state of Alaska. It has two asphalt paved runways. The airport was built during World War II. It was named Walseth Air Force Base and was closed by the United States Air Force in April 1947. It was excessed to the War Assets Administration and taken over by the Territory of Alaska. The airport previously had scheduled passenger service to Anchorage (ANC) provided by several commuter air carriers over the years but does not have airline flights at the present time. This airport was the first my work for the flight sim community in 2015. Now 7 years later, we are pleased to present this airport for a new generation of flight simulators in incredible quality. It was the first airport, but we hope not the last.
