Cesar Gaviria Trujillo Airport is a regional airport that serves Puerto Inirida, the capital of Colombia's Guainia Department. The airport is 2 kilometers southwest of Puerto Inirida, close to the Guainia and Guaviare rivers. It handles national pax and cargo flights to Bogotá and other intermediate cities in the area such as Villavicencio and Arauca among others.
Like Mitu, it is a flight adventure, a real experience of pure adrenaline, its remoteness and its jungle condition mean that it is usually visited by cargo airlines such as Aerosucre, LAS, Aer Caribe, among others, and of course by the Colombian Air Force.
