The first flight school of Taiwan, Apex Aviation is also homed at this airport, Trainers DA40 NG, DA42 NG and Tecnam P2012 are steered by young wings daily over this beautiful corner of Taiwan to pursuing their future aviation careers.
The new hangar expansion project of the National Airborne Service Corps had been completed in 2023 for stationing more UH-60 helicopters here to provide local emergency rescue operations.
