Yangyang International Airport is the gateway to the East Sea coast, Korea's favourite summer getaway, and to Sokcho, Gangneung, the Seoraksan mountains and the surf beaches of Yangyang. It is the home base of Parata Air, and charter flights connect it with Southeast Asia, China, Japan and Russia. During the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics, the airport served as a gateway for transporting athletes to the Games.
This scenery brings the whole airport to life in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Walk through the terminal, pull up to a custom jet bridge, and taxi past the Coast Guard hangar with the mountains rising behind the runway.

- Custom stop-line markings at every gate
A living Korean apron
- Korean vehicles with real-style Korean number plates: Hyundai Porter trucks in Parata Air and Korea Airports Corporation colours, Hyundai Staria vans, a Staria Follow-Me car with roof beacon, a Kia Carnival and Hyundai Bluecity airport buses
- Ground crew on the apron, including one worker on a cigarette break whose cigarette glows at night
