MSFS2020 is a huge leap forward for flight simulator scenery but, the bridges are still awful, particularly over large rivers and where bridges are a dominant feature of a city. This package fixes that for the 3 Rivers at Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA.
Pittsburgh in the south western corner of Pennsylvania, USA, is known as the “City of Bridges”, the “Steel City”, and “The Gateway to the West”. It is a very scenic city at the confluence of the Allegheny River and the Monongahela River which forms the Ohio River running west to the Mississippi.
One of the photos shows the coverage area from Sewickley in the west on the Ohio River, to Aspinwall in the north east on the Allegheny River, and to Port Perry on the Monongahela in the east. 38 default bridges have been replaced with individually and accurately modeled bridges with night lighting to realistically represent the real world. All the road bridges have properly flowing traffic with no flying cars or river crawlers. Many of these are iconic steel bridges with unique designs and some are on the National Historic Register.
The package also improves the river traffic, barges, dams, and vegetation along the 3 rivers.
This package is for personal use with a single copy of MSFS2020/MSFS2024 and not for resale, redistributing or copying. It should not be used with any other package which includes bridges in the coverage area.

RAF Scampton stood on the site of a First World War Royal Flying Corps landing field, which had been called Brattleby. The station was closed and returned to agriculture following the First World War, and reactivated in the 1930s. It has provided an airfield for fighters in the First World War, bombers during the Second World War and V-force Avro Vulcans during the Cold War. The station was temporarily closed in 1996, but subsequently re-opened to provide a home for the RAF Aerobatic Team the Red Arrows, and to private companies, temporarily, such as Hawker Hunter Aviation, for the maintenance and storage of aircraft. In July 2018, the Ministry of Defence announced that Scampton would close and be sold, with all units relocated elsewhere. The station closed on 31 March 2023. The scenery represents the base prior to closure in 2022 and has been created using reference material from several visits I made in 2022.
Features
- Full custom objects with photoreal textures
- All objects include PBR textures
- Full night lighting
- Full custom ground poly/projected mesh
- Terrain is using the latest mesh from the UK update.
- Static Red Arrow Hawk T1 aircraft (9 spots have been left vacant on the ramp for multiplayer)
- GA parking has been added around the base in the areas away from the Red Arrows ramp.
Notes
- The scenery requires you have the UK World update installed for the terrain.
- If data is turned off and offline mode is used, then some trees may dissappear while others appear where they are not supposed to.
- Thanks to LVFR for the use of some of their models and textures.

Trieste Airport (IATA: TRS, ICAO: LIPQ) is an Italian airport in Friuli-Venezia Giulia (and largest for the transport of people in the region itself) located in the municipality of Ronchi dei Legionari, 30 km northwest of Trieste , 21 km southwest of Gorizia, and 38 km south of Udine, along the Venezia Giulia state road 14. The structure, open to commercial traffic, is equipped with an asphalt runway 3000 m long and 45 m wide, with RWY 09-27 orientation and is managed by the company Aeroporto Friuli Venezia Giulia S. p. A. under the trade name of Trieste Airport - Friuli Venezia Giulia.
The first airport structure in the territory of Ronchi dei Legionari is the training ground of the 4th Fighter Wing in 1935. The 17th Fighter Group was stationed here from July 1943 until 8 September 1943.
In the fifties, the area was chosen as the seat of the civil airport, which began operations on 2 December 1961: a Douglas DC-3 of the Mediterranean airline company took off for Rome, inaugurating commercial connections.
In 1978 the track was extended to the current 3,000 meters. The control tower that still manages the traffic of the airport was inaugurated in 1982. In 1998 the expansion and modernization works of the airport were completed, allowing a capacity of 1. 5 million passengers per year. An airport is also built for the freight sector.
On 9 June 2011, the regional council approved the development of an intermodal hub that would extend within an area of 475,000 m² between the airport and the current Venice-Trieste railway line, which runs 250 meters from the terminal. On March 19, 2018, the new intermodal hub was inaugurated which consists of a new railway station called "Trieste Airport-Ronchi dei Legionari" connected to the passenger terminal via an elevated walkway 425 meters long. A new bus and coach station equipped with 16 stalls, a multi-storey car park with 500 seats and a ground level car park with 1000 seats.

DESCRIZIONE
Air Serbia, Alba Star. es, German Airways, ITA Airways, Lufthansa, Ryanair, Volotea
