In July 2024 the main innovations will be:
- Runway extended to 2000 m
- Two new taxiways
- The main apron very enlarged compared to the current
- Start of works for the construction of the new General Aviation terminal, scheduled for 2025
The works will continue, and in 2026 the "Costa d’Amalfi" should be finished with:
- Runway extended to 2200 m
- New main terminal
- New GA terminal
- ILS navigation system (assumed)
- New airport buildings
- New car parkings
To celebrate this "new" reality in the Italian airport scene, and anticipate the preview for fans, BarelliMsfsAddon has prepared the new addon dedicated to Salerno, divided into two separate mods: Salerno 2024 and Salerno 2026. These are two mods to install as usual in the MSFS Community folder, obviously NOT at the same time.
When publishing the 2024 version, it is important to specify that:
- Official Enav cards are not yet available, so the markings and signage are similar to the current ones, with the appropriate variants; as soon as official news will be ready, which may however delay, you will be provided with a free update.
Regarding the 2026 version, it is specified that:
- Regarding the new terminal only architectural renderings are available, as officially presented in 2023, and based on these was created the new terminal for the simulator.
- Regarding the GA terminal there is no info, so the building was "invented", in the place where it will be built, inspired by existing GA terminals (Rome Ciampino and Olbia); also in this case, when and if news will be available, we will update.
- It is assumed, reading between the lines of the official statements, that there will be the subsidy of an ILS on runway 05, the frequency of which was imagined as 108. 50 MHz.
- The new parkings of the cars have always been deducted from the official renderings.

Gateway to Mount Everest and World's Most Dangerous Airport; an airport so full of extremes that it is not only known by hardcore aviation enthusiasts anymore but has become a phenomenon among influencers, travel bloggers and documentaries.
Truth be told: There are airports that are higher. There may be airports that have a shorter runway. There even may be airstrips somewhere that have an even worse upwards slope of the runway. Or others that have a mountain wall at the end of its runway. What makes Lukla stand out is a combination of all those factors in one single airport!
Not enough thrill for you? Count in weather as a factor. No navigational aids. Limited documentation of approach and take-off routes. An uncontrolled airspace with fixed-wing aircraft and helicopters.
This package is a newly developed version of "Lukla - Mount Everest Extreme" by the same developer: one of our most popular sceneries of the past two decades that has won many awards – among them the Simflight Award. This new version is setting the bar even higher again. More details, more animations, more of the real Lukla!
- Detailed 3D terrain model of Lukla airport with high-resolution photorealistic textures
- Newly constructed Lukla Helipad with terminal building
- Newly constructed terminal extension with interiors
- Recently erected Tenzing-Hillary statue and gardens right next to the runway
- Lots of animated people, animals, creek along the runway
- Animated ground service ATV
- Realistic night lighting
- Various typical sounds
- Detailed manual
- CONS: No flat runway ;-)

This immersive training pack offers aspiring London-based pilots the opportunity to refine their skills on the final leg of various flights inbound to London Heathrow.
With a choice of three iconic aircraft – the A320, B747 and B787 – you can experience the thrill of landing at one of the world's busiest airports. This pack provides a selection of eight Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs) inbound to London Heathrow, allowing you to practice different approaches and landings.
Fancy being a bit non-standard on these standard arrivals? For those seeking an extra challenge, the pack allows you to customize your experience further, by choosing your preferred weather setting, enabling you to practice landings in various conditions, including rainy, cloudy, snow or storms! Or, if you are a risk taker, just land on the opposing runway to the wind. It is all your choice to make your training worthwhile.
So, what are you waiting for, Captain? Strap in, select your aircraft, pick a STAR, set the weather, and take to the skies for an unforgettable training experience at London Heathrow.
Product Highlights:
144 Unique Scenarios: With an impressive selection of 144 scenarios to choose from, this Airport STAR Training Pack offers a large selection of missions to enable you to have the best variety of practice into London Heathrow.
One Click Flying: Select your chosen mission and you will spawn in the air, just before the STAR commences. Stabilise your aircraft and prepare for descent into London Heathrow.
A diverse range of conditions: No two days are the same as a pilot, and we really want to bring this reality to you. You can fly the same route, but the weather will really impact your decisions and choices as you descend into the airport.
Suitable for all levels of experience: Whether you are new to flight simulation or whether you are a frequent simmer, we believe this unique offering will help you master your flights into London Heathrow.
NOTE: This product uses the Asobo default aircraft, and requires the Deluxe version for the B787 to work. If you do not have the B787 installed, these missions will not appear, but those for the A320 and B747 will continue to work.

KEEP IN MIND THAT THIS PACKAGE IS "AUTOGENERATED" VIA LOT OF ALGORITHMS.
While most of the time the algorithm works fine, this can package cannot be better than manually created scenery
The purpose of this addon is to provide a global coverage
FEATURING:
- boat piers in the coutries included in the coverage
- boats surrounding the piers
- in FS2024, piers and boats are "walkable"
- 30ish new boats models
- random static boats placed nearby marinas (the marinas are defined by leisure=marina tag in Open Street Map)
- random seagulls in marinas (the "fauna" slider sets their density)
- Seamarks: buoys. obtained from several sources, navigation buoys are placed in all the world, including lateral, cardinal, special purpose, safe-water, danger, special
- Seamarks: lights. Beacon for the buoys as well as navigation light in ports and Marinas are now included. Major lights (Lighthouses) are NOT included (so you can enjoy 3rd party POIs)
- Seamarks: cranes. Around commercial ports several thousands cranes have been placed, as well as more tiny ones in marinas, including travel lift type
- Containers: Commercial ports have been enhanced with container piles, they are semi auto generated, so they don't follow the aerials, but they give a great idea of the loads of shipping that is going on
in the world. Enhanced port list is available at https://www. lloydslist. com/one-hundred-container-ports-2024, plus some other major ports in Europe and USA
Per se, this package shouldn't have any big compatiblity issue with other boats packages. Of course, if 2 boat/cranes/containers packages are placing boats or piers in the same area, you will see duplicated scenery unless the other creator
has added exclusionRectangles in his own scenery (wich is adviceable for any POI or custom scenery)
INSTALLATION
Unzip in community and fly everywehere theres a marina, you gonna see boats!

ALL THE TRADEMARKS ON CONTAINERS BELONG TO THE RESPECTIVE SHIP COMPANIES, THEY ARE REPRODUCED FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF REPRODUCING (SIMULATING) A REALISTIC LANDSCAPE

The P-47D ( or the Jug as it was affectionately known ) was one of the heaviest fighters of World War 2 with a fully laden P-47 topping the scales at a portly 8 tonnes. This weight required a very powerful engine. The same engine that powered the F6F Hellcat and the Vought Corsair, the Pratt and Whitney R2800. Coupled with an impressive load out capability and very capable 50 Calibre machine guns the Thunderbolt resulted in a very capable medium range escort fighter and excellent ground attack fighter.
But there was an issue. Visibility. The Razorback whilst strong ( some returned safely with very large amounts of the plane damaged. ) had an issue with rear visibility. The fix was found by a visit to the RAF. The RAF also had this issue on some of their aircraft and had in fact lent their design for canopies to another famous USAAF aircraft the P51 ( also available ). In this case the answer lay in the Hawker Typhoon with an all encompassing all round vision “bubble top”. And the razorback was retired from production in favour of the Bubbletop
P-47s were operated by several Allied Air Forces during World War II. The RAF for example received 240 razorback P-47Ds, which they designated Thunderbolt Mark I. Since there wasnt a need for a high-altitude fighter in the RAF ( the superb supermarine spitfire filling that role admirably ) the RAF used their Thunderbolts as ground attack. Rather like the Fairchild Republic A-10 thunderbolt in use today. And yes the A-10 takes its name from its WW2 grandfather - The P47-D "Thunderbolt".

The NAvion was the first civilian aircraft manufactured by North American Aviation, famous for producing legendary military aircraft such as the P-51 Mustang fighter, AT-6 Texan trainer, B-25 Mitchell bomber, and F-86 Saber Jet fighter.
The NAvion was a rugged aircraft with excellent short and rough field capabilities, good range, and capacity for 4 people along with reasonable cargo. NAvions are a dream to fly like all North American aircraft: light on the controls and perfectly harmonized in all axis of flight.
The same qualities that made it attractive to civilian buyers caught the attention of the U. S. Army that was looking for a "flying pickup truck" for liaison functions including reconnaissance, personnel and light cargo carrying, column control, camouflage checking and courier service. Prohibited by the Key West Agreement from procuring fixed-wing aircraft, the Army requested the Air Force place an order for a military version of the NAvion. 83 aircraft were ordered in 1947 and given the military designation L-17. Faced with demand for the F-86, North American sold the NAvion design and tooling in July 1947 - along with about 60 uncompleted aircraft - to Ryan Aeronautical, famed producer of the Spirit of St. Louis as well as WW II trainers such as the PT-22 Recruit.
Ryan received an order for 158 upgraded L-17s in 1948 and a further order in 1949 for 5 more aircraft for the Hellenic (Greek) Air Force for a total of 163 aircraft. Ryan also subcontracted with Schweitzer Aircraft Company to upgrade 33 North American Aviation L-17s with Ryan features such as improved brakes, radios, and aux fuel. To track what were now 3 different types of L-17, unmodified North Amercian Aviation aircraft were designated L-17A, new Ryan aircraft were designated L-17B, and Schwietzer-modified North American aircraft were designated L-17C. The last L-17s were 3 "Super" L-17Ds (also listed as XL-22A or XL-22D) ordered in 1951, based on the new Ryan Navion Model B. This makes for a total of 249 L-17s with about 45 surviving today.
1951 Ryan L-17D 51-16427: Hangar Studios 713 has modeled 1 of the 3 L-17D models built based on the civilian Ryan 260 HP "Super 260" Navion. It participated in the "Sliding On Ice And Snow”(SOIAS) project for the USAF in December of 1951 in Kenora, Ontario Canada in the Lake of the Woods area. The aircraft were fitted with instrumentation to measure the effectiveness of skis on a variety of aircraft including the L-17D, Northrup YC-125, and the Douglas C-47.

This is the LearFan designed by the famous Bill Lear of Learjet fandom and father of the Private Jet sector. Bill invisioned a lighter, sleeker turboprop that would be more economical to own and maintain as compared with private jets. His hopes were to bring in a new Turboprop that could compete with small jets at a fraction of the price. The sleek prop-jet was completely made of Carbonfiber, which was ahead of its time in the 1980's. The powerplant was originally dual jet turoprop engines side by side in the tail, running shafts to a transmission and out to the propeller. The system was very similar to a helicopter twin jet setup. This enabled the plane to have a backup engine if one of the jets had a in-flight issue.
This creation for MSFS flight simulator is a new advanced version of the LearFan and is rebadged as the LF2200. The original was the LF2100 with twin jets. This unique continuance of the design modernizes the aircraft into a single jet powerplant of the new Pratt and Whitney PW127EX high efficiency power TP jet, bringing the aircraft to 2600 SHP, nearly twice its original and is lighter in weight and higher efficiency. The interior is quite refined to modern standards and is fitted with a modern, state of the art glass screen Avionics Suite, the AS3X touch screen system.
From high end quality leather to beautiful wood veneer, this sleek 8 seater 'Turboprop' Biz Jet is quite loaded with the luxuries of a small personal jet.
The cruise speed of the LF2100 and this new one, the LF2200, is 280 Knots, and an incredible max speed of 390 knots TAS at 30K to 40K feet. I wanted to keep the speeds the same as the original. The ceiling of the LF2200 and the original 2100 is/was 40,000 feet and featured a massive range of 1780 Nautical Miles.
If you are yearning for something radically new to fly, something advanced, a plane that is easy to fly and not overly complicated, something that comes with a plethera of various paint schemes and interiors, this might be for you. This is a Vision, a dream of Bill Lear and I have sought to bring it to this present age, complete with todays standards of modern avionics and an incredible Pratt and Whitney high output jet, and a sporty, high end, luxury cabin.
This package comes with ten different paint schemes that also include multiple colored interior cabin themes; from cherry wood veneer to dark gray stained wood to Swedish Teak, and the list goes on.
Please read through the manual to see what all this wild aircraft comes with. You will want to learn how she works and where all the gizmos and switches and neat features are. Lots of screenshots, so do not worry, not too much reading.
Happy flights and pray for the people of the Ukraine!

The airport forms part of the Dube TradePort, which will additionally consist of a trade zone linked to the airport's cargo terminal, facilities to support the airport such as nearby offices and transit accommodation for tourists, an integrated agricultural export zone, and an IT platform
The largest aircraft KSIA currently has scheduled services for is the Boeing 777-300ER, with Emirates operating Dubai–Durban, despite the fact that KSIA's runway length and terminal were designed to theoretically handle regular large airliners. In September 2015, during the World Routes Conference which was held in Durban (the first time on African soil), Turkish Airlines announced a new international service to Istanbul and Qatar Airways announced the commencement of service to Doha in December of that year.
