Important Note for Best Terrain Quality
This verision has been fully tested on MSFS 2024 SU6 Beta v1. 8. 8. 0, and thanks to the latest improvements in my terrain‑mesh generation algorithm, the Old Terraforming Method is no longer required. ETM10m now works seamlessly with the new MSFS 2024 terrain renderer.
This update is part of my ongoing commitment to deliver the most accurate and realistic terrain mesh for Israel, crafted tile by tile with precision and passion.
For version 2. 3. 0, I manually corrected the DEM in QGIS, restoring the natural flatness of the Negev plateau and improving the terrain around key landmarks such as solar fields, roads and desert infrastructures.

We are offering a scenery and mission bundle providing a simulation of U. S. Navy Field Carrier Landing Practice in the FA - 18E Super Hornet. It includes two upgraded U. S. Navy airfield sceneries with a mission package offering dynamic Air Traffic Control and Landing Signal Officer radio communications. Here are more details on the package components:
NAS Oceana (KNTU): During your FCLP missions you will fly out of NAS Oceana in Norfolk, VA. It is the Navy's East Coast master jet base and hosts 16 Super Hornet squadrons. Upgrades to the airport scenery include:
1. Based on the high quality of Asobo's aerial imagery of the airport, the airport surfaces have been re-worked to use that imagery.
2. New taxiway lines, paths, signage, and system labeling have been re-worked to match the actual airfield.
3. Airfield lighting has been revised to match the actual airfield.
4. Parking has been re-worked to match the actual airfield. Military-designated parking spots have been added to avoid spawning of civilian AI traffic.
5. Runway paint markings have been enhanced to match current markings at the airfield, including simulated carrier landing areas and field arresting gear markings.
6. To match the current airfield, eight functional optical landing systems have been added to all approaches.
7. Hangars and buildings have been reworked, primarily with stock Asobo objects which are a close match to the actual airfield.
Fentress Naval Auxiliary Landing Field (KNFE): You will perform your FCLP activities at a purpose-built airfield several miles away from NAS Oceana, Fentress NALF. We have applied the following upgrades to the stock MSFS scenery at Fentress:
1. Functional optical landing systems have been added to both approaches.
2. Runway markings have been added to match the actual airfield, including simulated carrier deck landing areas and landing spots for helicopters and VTOL aircraft.
3. As per the current airfield, in-deck directional lighting of the simulated carrier deck landing areas has been added. New runway and taxiway lighting has been added in a dimmed condition to match current procedures for night FCLP operations.
4. Runway materials have been revised to match the current reinforced-concrete landing areas at either end of the runway. Asobo aerial imagery is used for the taxiways and the non-runway airfield environment.
5. Custom buildings have been added for the LSO greenhouses, the on-field U. S. Navy fire station, and the TACAN station described below.
6. The unpublished, "reference-only" TACAN station has been added to the field. This station is an important component of FCLP operations. It can be tuned on channel 27X.
FCLP Mission Package: A set of six missions are included that were created using the simulator's Bush Mission functionality. The primary purpose of these missions is to provide dynamic Air Traffic Control and Landing Signal Officer radio communication during your FCLP work at Oceana and Fentress. These missions provide ATIS, clearance, tower, departure, and arrival radio communications as you are being vectored to and from Fentress NALF. These communications are triggered based on your location and altitude and include both pilot and ATC/LSO communications. These missions will spawn your aircraft at NAS Oceana's west ramp parking. Once you arrive at the Fentress carrier pattern you will be handed off to your Landing Signal Officer who will provide standard verbal corrections during your practice approaches. These six missions include a variety of weather and lighting conditions. A seventh practice mission will spawn you at Fentress NALF if you prefer to depart directly into the carrier pattern rather than being vectored from Oceana.
Dash 8-300
With the success of the Dash 8-100 series, a stretched version with greater capacity was a logical development. De Havilland Canada (now part of Bombardier) launched full scale development of a 50 seat stretched version of its Dash 8 regional airliner during 1986, approximately two years after the standard fuselage length aircraft had entered service. The first series 300 aircraft was in fact the prototype Dash 8 converted to the new length, and it flew for the first time in its new configuration on May 15 1987. Flight testing culminated in the awarding of Canadian certification in February 1989, with the first delivery to Time Air following late that same month. US certification was awarded in June 1989. The stretch comprises fuselage plugs forward and aft of the wing, increasing length by 3. 43m (11ft 3in). In addition, the wings are greater in span. The fuselage stretch increases typical seating capacity to 50 (at 81cm/32in pitch), or for up to 56 (at 74cm/29in pitch). Other changes compared with the Dash 8-100 were minor, but included a larger, repositioned galley, larger toilet, additional wardrobe, dual air conditioning packs, a new galley service door and optional APU. The Dash 8-300 has been offered in a number of variants. The standard 300 was followed in 1990 by the 300A which introduced optional higher gross weights, interior improvements (as on the Dash 8-100A), and standard PW123A engines (with PW123Bs optional). The 300B was introduced in 1992 and has 1865kW (2500shp) PW123Bs as standard, as is the optional high gross weight of the 300A. The 300E has 1775kW (2380shp) PW123Es rated to 40 degrees, thus improving hot and high performance. Like the Dash 8Q-200, all Dash 8-300s built since the second quarter of 1996 have been fitted with a computer controlled noise and vibration suppression system (or NVS) and so from then all models were designated Dash 8Q-300s. In 1998 the aircraft was again renamed, this time to Dash 8-Q300 when a new interior was also introduced. Virtualcol takes pride in presenting the third version of a package of three models of this series, the DASH 8-300. This model has analogue instruments with PFD and HSI digital and FMS (UNS) used in all subsequent versions.
WARNING: This model isn't a study-level model, but for the price, we are sure to offer a product that is as real as possible.

- removed incorrectly placed trees along the coast
- general changes to the vegetation to match with the aerial imagery (e. g. bushes instead of trees in rocky areas)
- Other improvements:
- removed some incorrectly placed buildings
- added some missing night lights at the coast of Santa Cruz
- applied a custom water mask in some areas to make breakwaters and piers visible
Aerial imagery, mesh and scenery are put together as separate add-ons and can be used independently of one another.
Compatibility
This add-on is compatible with the airport by Sim-Wings (no changes to the files necessary anymore). Several freeware airports were tested as well and no issues found.
Wenzhou Longwan Airport ZSWZ
Wenzhou Longwan International Airport(IATA: WNZ, ICAO: ZSWZ) is a 4E-class civil international airport and a regional hub airport.
This airport scenery was created by me after an on-site survey conducted on October 3, 2025. Approximately 600 real-life reference photos were used during development. As an individual developer with limited resources, I have done my best to faithfully recreate the airport's details.

Terminal Buildings
The airport features two terminals, T2 and T1.
Terminal T2 is built based on its real-world structure and includes a fully recreated interior, as well as a realistically modeled T2 transportation hub that matches its real-life appearance.
Terminal T1 does not include an interior, as I was unable to access it during the reference-gathering process. Even so, the overall airport still looks impressive and visually appealing.
Night Lighting
The lighting has been recreated to closely match real-world brightness and color temperature. Terminal T2 alone contains over 1,000 interior light sources (consistent with the real airport). All airport lighting models are custom-made to accurately reproduce their real appearance, brightness, and color, ensuring the airport is neither too dark nor overly bright at night, adding depth and atmosphere to the scenery.
Apron
The apron features colors that closely resemble the real airport. Realistic wear and tear textures have been added to enhance authenticity. All ground markings are strictly based on real-world layouts, and even the ground signage models are recreated according to their real counterparts.
Other Models
Inside the airport, I have created realistic models of gate signs, shuttle buses, baggage carts, fences, and more. Additional vehicles such as passenger stairs, baggage conveyor vehicles, and cargo lifting platforms are also included to enrich the environment. Around the airport, more than a dozen simple surrounding buildings have been modeled, along with smaller facilities such as VOR and LOC stations.
Performance
Despite the large number of models included, testing shows that the airport maintains a smooth and fluid performance. Multiple LOD levels have been created for Terminal T2 to optimize performance.
