The F6F Hellcat.
The logical successor & evolution to the F4F Wildcat, the Hellcat was the monstrous carrier-borne aircraft of the United States Navy in the Pacific Theatre of WWII. The Hellcat first appeared operationally in August 1943, proving its value immediately and taking part in some of the greatest air battles of the Pacific; from the Caroline Islands, to the Battle of the Philippines & many more. The aircraft was incredibly successful in battle, accounting for more than half of all airborne kills from the US Navy. The F6F claimed 5,156 total kills with an extraordinary kill ratio of 19:1, creating 307 Hellcat Pilot aces in the process.
The Hellcat is easily distinguished on the deck by its folding wings & the unmistakeable earth-shaking roar of the enormous 2000+ hp Pratt & Whitney R-2800-10W Double Wasp Radial engine. The engine is an air-cooled radial piston engine, with 18 cylinders, a 2-speed supercharger and water injection for additional power demands. This monstrous engine drives a 3-bladed Hamilton Standard Propeller with an enormous 4m diameter, capable of powering the aircraft up to speeds of 391mph (629km/h).
Capable of reaching 20,000ft in under 8 minutes, with a combat range of almost 1000 miles and a service ceiling topping 37,300ft, the Hellcat can get off the deck and into the fight quickly. Most airports can provide their weather reports on assigned frequencies, what is known as Automatic
Terminal Information Service (ATIS). This weather information is usually bound to a frequency per
airport.
To a larger extend, similar to ATIS, there are other stations (ranging from none to 1 or 2 per country),
that are known as VolMet stations. VolMet stations, contrary to ATIS, do not include just one airport on
their frequency but instead they give weather report/informatio... Most airports can provide their weather reports on assigned frequencies, what is known as Automatic

(being the most common source for obtaining weather information for enroute airports, destination etc,
before ACARS and for aircrafts without ACARS) but missing from the simulator.
"RealVolMet Europe v2" package, aims at raising the immersion level during your flights, by including
European VHF VolMet stations, with their correct, real life naming, frequency, airports in each station
etc, but most importantly, weather reports are NOT fake/random just to give the immersion, they
actually provide the real weather report! Simply tune the station's frequency on the aircraft's comms and
listen to the VolMet report!
Incorporating a very powerful, custom made, metar decoder, able to decode, airport, time, wind, wind
variability, visibility, directional visibility, runway visual range reports, all possible weather conditions,
clouds, temperature, dewpoint, pressure along with any supplementary information and any trends
included in the metar reports!
Also every single sound file, is custom made and NO default decoder or default sound files are used,
in order to ensure maximum realism and increase decoding capabilities to real life VolMet standards.
"RealVolMet Europe v2" now incorporates a simple to use, yet powerful user interface, in which

Ohio River Bridges - Cincinnati to Louisville On Sale
Cincinnati and Louisville are the 2 largest cities on the Ohio River between Pittsburgh and the Mississippi River. The package starts at the Combs-Hehl Bridge just east of Cincinnati through Louisville and updated to extend further west to Cairo where the Ohio joins the Mississippi. A photo showing the area covered is included.
The default bridges have been replaced with 33 individually and accurately modeled bridges with night lighting to realistically represent the real world. Many of ... The most famous bridge in Cincinnati is the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge opened in 1866 as the longest suspension bridge in the world at that time. Roebling’s most famous bridge is the Brooklyn bridge which then became the longest at that time.
The Dams, Locks and river traffic barges completely missing or submerged in the default are revealed.
Louisville, the largest city in Kentucky, is famous for the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs (POI added), Muhammad Ali, Louisville Slugger, and UPS which operates it’s Worldport Air Hub from Louisville International Airport (KSDF).
Louisville has several bridges of architectural significance. The Big Four Pedestrian Bridge (originally a railroad bridge) has a computer controlled lighting system which allows the public to request a 3 color light scheme of their choosing. The bridge is lit every evening. I have done a Red, Blue, Green configuration for this package.
The new Abraham Lincoln Suspension bridge is completely missing in the sim but the traffic flows as though there was a bridge there. The sim is using mapping from the time when the old bridge had been removed but the new bridge had just started construction. I have put the new bridge in the package but the connecting roads are missing. There were major changes to the road’s spaghetti junction which affected the adjacent Kennedy Memorial bridge. Fixing the road layout for one bridge would ruin the traffic flow for the other. In the package the Abraham Lincoln Bridge is shown accurately but the connecting roads are under construction.

- If the system is set correctly, he will proceed to the next item; if it's not, he will wait for you to configure said system before proceeding to the next call.

- Programs MCDU (requires Simbrief integration)
- Copilot can complete 95% of your MCDU programming; you just have to set dep/arr runways and SID/STAR.
- Copilot Call-outs:
- Hundreds of call-outs available; hear the copilot announce the engine, autopilot, flaps, and gear (e. g. “gear up”, “engine 1 cutout”, and “AutoPilot 1 On”). He will even read-back your altimeter settings, current fuel, and autopilot values (e. g. “Fuel 12,000 pounds”), as well as confirm you’re on the correct runway.
- Highly Configurable Options:
- Automatic Options – Copilot will automatically raise/lower the gear, extend/retract the flaps (at the precise speeds), set the auto pilot, turn seatbelt signs on/off based on the parameters you set. In fact, you can even configure when the First Officer should start boarding, call for catering or Push-Back.
- Powerful Speech Recognition – If you prefer to manage the systems yourself, FSFO has a robust speech recognition method to raise/lower the gear, extend/retract the flaps, set the auto pilot, etc…
- You can configure FSFO to use Push-To-Talk (PTT) or Open Mic.
- Log Book:
- Keep track of your flights via FSFO’s Logbook; it tracks your aircraft type, average landing speeds, and much more…
- Runway Awareness and Alert System (RAAS):
- As a bonus, FSFO comes with RAAS, which is a system that alerts you when you’re approaching (land and ground) a runway, or entered a runway; it will also inform you when your takeoffs/landings are long (e. g. long landing, 3000 feet remaining, 50 feet remaining), or your approach is unstable
- Manage your own Company and Fleet (Beta):
- Create a company, buy and sell aircraft, assign aircraft to routes, and get a rating for each flight.
- Ratings depend on several factors (e. g. did you let passengers use the restrooms, feed them, or get them to their destination on time?)
- Experience Maintenance issues, which either require you to land or continue the flight without the impacted system.

- Change Copilot/Pilot accents:
- Choose between English, British, Japanese, French, German, Australian, Espanol and even SAPI.
