Today, it stands as a modern regional airport, playing a key role in the transportation network of the Fergana Valley — one of the most densely populated and dynamically developing regions in the country.
In Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/2024, Fergana Airport has been recreated with high realism: detailed infrastructure, historical layout features, an updated ILS-equipped runway, and the distinctive landscape of the valley. It’s an ideal departure point for exploring southern Central Asia by air.
