The highway runs through three states, Washington, Oregon, and California, for a total length of about 2,000 miles.
Built in the 1950s and 1960s as part of the Interstate Highway System, the highway is six lanes in most urban areas and four lanes in rural areas.
Although it can be subject to traffic congestion, the highway remains an important transportation artery for the Pacific Northwest region.
You will fly over fantastic landscapes and cities such as Seattle, Tacoma. Olympia, Portland, Eugene, Salem, Sacramento, Los Angeles San Diego and some national and state parks.
The reconstruction of this aerial excursion is enriched, in addition to the precise flight directions according to the VFR standard, with copious historical, geographical and cultural information of all points of interest. All to provide an immersive and educational flying experience.
Features:
New livery for the Cessna Grand Caravan, painted in Perfect Flight colors
The excursion is divided into three parts. The first part covers the Washington State. The second runs in Oregon, and the third continues the journey over the California.
Available from the Perfect Flight website the FlightBooks of all trips (in English, Italian, Spanish, German, French and Portuguese). Real tour guides! You will receive the direct download link immediately after purchase.

Ka10M
The Ka-10 (NATO reporting name Hat) is a Soviet single-seat observation helicopter that first flew in 1949.
Design and development
The Ka 10 was a development of Nikolay Kamov’s earlier Ka-8, which had been successful enough to allow Kamov to set up his own OKB (design bureau) in 1948. The Ka 10 was a development of Nikolay Kamov’s earlier Ka-8, which had been successful enough to allow Kamov to set up his own OKB (design bureau) in 1948. The Ka-10 made of similar layout to the Ka-8, with an open steel-tube structure carrying an engine, a pilot’s seat and two three-bladed coaxial rotors. It was larger, however, with a revised transmission and rotor hub design, and a new engine specially designed for the helicopter, the 41 kilowatts (55 hp) Ivchenko AI-4 flat-four.
Operational history
The Ka-10 made its first flight in September 1949. Three more prototypes followed, which were evaluated by Soviet Naval Aviation. A Ka-10 was displayed at the 1950 Tushino Air Display, and one made the first landing by a Soviet helicopter on the deck of a ship on 7 December 1950.
In 1954, 12 of an improved version, the Ka-10M were built for the Maritime Border Troops. They had a twin tail rather than the single vertical fin of the Ka-10 and modified rotors and control systems.

This package focuses on the bridges and scenery along the beautiful Oregon south coast from the Chetco River at Brookings in the south up to Depoe Bay. The package includes 21 bridges, 7 lighthouses, improvements to 9 airports and fixes to 200 miles of coastline cliffs and vegetation. The bridges and lighthouses are modeled to accurately reflect their architecture with appropriate night lighting and rotating lighthouse beams. There are a mixture of road and rail bridges. The road bridges are mainly on US route 101 coastal highway.
All items included in the package are listed at the end of this description.
The default coast cliffs and vegetation often detract from the beauty and realism of the bridges and coastline so a multitude of fixes have been made. As an example two of the photos show a comparison of the default Thomas Creek Bridge with the one in this package.
Also along this stretch of coastline there are 9 airports which have been improved as the defaults often show no buildings or have inappropriate houses where there should be hangars. Asobo generic items such as hangars, aircraft, fueling stations, windsocks and airport beacon towers have been added to make the airports more realistic.
Conde McCullough designed many beautiful bridges in Oregon and you will be able to identify his designs by the art deco and gothic details he used. He wanted beautiful bridges as well as utility.
