The development has been conducted along with real pilots and true Transall connoisseurs. A big thanks to the "Musée Européen de l'Aviation de Chasse" in Montélimar, France, that provided access to a retired French C-160R. By inspecting it in every details, we have been able to reproduce an accurate version of the aircraft.
We have put a lot of effort to improve even more our quality standards compared to our previous products. The great complexity of the aircraft and its military-designed systems forced us to adapt our development processes accordingly. Hence, our Transall includes a big amount of bespoke systems and does not re-use existing generic avionics from the simulator.

Please note that our work is based on the C160 NG/R version which is the most modern one to have been operated in French Air Force. All liveries - including other armies - feature the same cockpit and cargo bay but external models have been adapted for each livery. Please have a look at the manual on our website to see all implemented features and current aircraft limitations.
Always aware of the room for improvement, periodic updates are already planned to improve the several systems based on the feedback, do not hesitate to contact us.

After a prolonged development period beginning in 1979, the first Starship entered service in 1989. Only 50 airframes were delivered to customers, and six remain airworthy today. Despite being a notable failure, Starship was one of the most groundbreaking designs ever to see production. It was the first certified canard wing aircraft, the first busin... It was the first certified canard wing aircraft, the first business aircraft with an all-composite structure, the first certified twin pusher turboprop, the first general aviation aircraft with an all-glass cockpit, and it remains one of only three civilian turboprops with a service ceiling of 41,000 feet. More so than most rare or aging aircraft, Starship is a flying monument to innovation, ambition and the price paid for being too far ahead of one's time. Black Square’s Starship brings you one of the most technically advanced aircraft simulations for Microsoft Flight Simulator, with over 230 possible failures including new turbine engine failures, an accurate recreation of the one-of-a-kind Collins AMS-850 avionics suite and the most advanced pressurisation and cabin temperature simulations in MSFS.
