The Piper J3C-65, an aviation icon, is renowned for its distinctive high-wing, taildragger design and exceptional low-speed performance. Originally designed as a versatile trainer, the J3 Cub was mass-produced during the Second World War under the designation L-4 Grasshopper, serving primarily in flight training and reconnaissance roles. Over its production run, nearly 20,000 J3 Cubs were built, including both civilian and military variants, providing initial flight training for an impressive 80% of US military pilots.
Today, the J3 Cub remains a popular choice in civilian aviation. Its simplicity and wide availability make it an affordable option, while its forgiving handling characteristics appeal to many bush pilots. Most J3 Cubs have been upgraded from their original 60hp Continental A-65 engines to enhance performance.
The Classic Aircraft Simulations J3C-65 features an optional modern transponder and radio, and a custom configuration tablet, all of which are hideable for a more traditional J3 experience. Utilising the latest MSFS CFD flight model technology in tandem with a custom engine start model, gear failure system and engine characteristics augmentation, the CAS cub faithfully recreates the J3 experience.

This package contains two Royal Navy aircraft carriers of the WW2 'Illustrious' class: HMS Indomitable and HMS Formidable. These ships played a prominent part in the battles of the Second World War, in operations all over the world.
HMS Indomitable is the MSFS 'airport', while HMS Formidable is land-able scenery.
Primarily intended for use with the Flight Replicas Seafires (not included), along with the free Kinetic Assistant app, these carriers nonetheless can be used with any MSFS aircraft desired.
They have been placed at 6 locations around the world, which represent in a very small way the areas where these ships operated in WW2.
These locations are (in the MSFS World Map. ICAO designation is spurious, standing for Carriers/FlightReplicas/designator):
CFRK Malta
CFRH Gibratar
CFRC Clyde, UK
CFRS Scapa Flow, UK
CFRZ Diego Suarez, Madagascar
CFRA Sydney, Australia
HMS Indomitable is the 'airport'. HMS Formidable is land-able scenery.
For most authentic use of the carriers:
1 Turn off Real Weather, and manually set any desired cloud conditions and most importantly set the winds, which should be from 20 to 35 knots down the deck (from front of ship to rear).
2 Download the free app Kinetic Assistant, for authentic 'trapped' landings and catapult take-offs. (KA also offers many more useful MSFS functions).
https://msfs. touching. cloud/mods/kinetic-assistant/
KA Launch: Set aircraft launch speed, set parking brakes, activate catapult in KS, release parking brakes. You will then launch.
KA landing: Set time it takes to come to stop once landed (seconds), then set tailhook.
