Black Square’s Analog Caravan brings you a completely new interior and panel for the default MSFS Grand Caravan, featuring analog instrumentation (steam gauges), swappable radio configurations and an overhauled electrical system with every circuit breaker, bus, meter, switch, and knob functioning. Users will find increased detail on the instrument panel and electrical panels when compared to default aircraft, and a similar level of detail in the cabin. The panel of the aircraft contains only fully 3D gauges, modelled and coded to meticulously match their real world counterparts, with reference to real-world maintenance and installation manuals. No piece of equipment appears in a Black Square aircraft without a real-world unit as reference. Radio and navigation systems are available from several eras of the Caravan’s history, so users can fly without GPS via an original Bendix KNS-80 RNAV system, or with the convenience of a Garmin GTN 750 (PMS50 or TDS optional add-ons, the PMS50 version is available as freeware). Other swappable radio equipment in this aircraft includes KX-155 NAV/COM radios, GNS 530, GNS 430, KR 87 ADF, KDI 572 DME, GTX 327 Transponder, KAP 140 Autopilot, and a Bendix RDR1150XL Colour Weather Radar. A 70-page manual provides instruction on all installed equipment, and 30 in-game checklists with control/instrument highlighting are included for normal and emergency procedures. Primarily analog instrumentation augmented with modern radio navigation equipment is still the most common aircraft panel configuration in the world. Challenge your piloting skills by flying IFR to minimums with a fully analog panel and no GPS. You’ll be amazed at the level of skill and proficiency you can achieve to conquer such adversity, and how it will translate to all your other flying. You also may find the analog instrumentation much easier to read with the limited number of pixels available on a computer monitor, and even more so in VR. Note: This product is an INTERIOR AND SYSTEMS OVERHAUL ONLY that makes use of the default MSFS Caravan exterior visual model. Improvements have been made to almost all aspects of the aircraft, except the visual appearance of the exterior. All default Caravan liveries are compatible with this product. For more information on this product’s capabilities and a list of all included avionics and equipment, see the Detailed Description below and the extensive PDF operating manual.

Cockpit
Greatly enhanced instrument panel detail compared to default aircraft, with every label and marking in its place. If it appears in the real aircraft, you can interact with it!
Custom-coded steam gauges with low-pass filtering, needle bounce, and physics provide ultra-realistic and silky smooth animations like you’ve never seen before
Carefully modelled components match the depth and character of the real instrumentation, based on reference photos, schematics and real world measurements. Unlike other expensive Flight Sim aircraft, every piece of equipment that appears in a Black Square aircraft is modelled after a real piece of aircraft equipment, and will behave the same way in its primary functionality.
Every knob, switch and button is interactable and implemented, along with its respective electrical circuitry. Turn systems on and off or pull circuit breakers to see the impact it has on your generators and battery via the analog meters. Automatic load shedding and standby generators are also simulated. Many pieces of equipment respond correctly to electrical configurations with warning messages and diagnostic codes.
Fully 3D cockpit lighting technology for every gauge and panel, with ambient bounce lighting for a more immersive night-time experience that won’t leave you fumbling around in unrealistically dark spots
4096x4096 (4K) PBR textures on cockpit and panel for crisp instrumentation. Even see the fingerprints on instrument glass!
Hideable yokes, adjustable sun visors and other cockpit aesthetics
All placards and warning labels from the real aircraft represented
SystemsBlack Square’s overhauled cockpits with analog instrumentation go far beyond a visual upgrade. Included, you will find a complete redesign of all aircraft systems to more closely match the real aircraft, with a focus on electrical systems. Also included are more accurate weight and balance, lighting systems, flight dynamics and ground handling. Enjoy features such as:

This aircraft comes in three versions, Air Observation Post, General Liaison, and floatplane.
A reprise of the type we first released for FSX, this package is pure MSFS. Thanks to MSFS's more advanced handling of aerodynamics, and the L-4's simple but effective instrumentation, you'll have to keep a sharp eye on airspeed and develop a feel for what the aircraft is doing by also keeping your eyes outside the cockpit. This is what was called "flying by the seat of your pants", and is a true component of good piloting skills.
You'll also need to 'hand prop' the L-4 to start the engine.
With great visibility and fully opening doors, you'll be able to enjoy the amazing MSFS world scenery in a way only the L-4 can provide, and understand why historically this aircraft was so prized in WWII. Not to mention the challenge of being able to land almost anywhere, once you know the aircraft well.
History:
The history of the L-4 is best summed up by Ken Wakefield, author of "The Fighting Grasshoppers" and "Lightplanes at War", who graciously contributed the following overview of this aircraft:
"The Piper L-4 Grasshopper of WW2 was the military version of the highly popular pre-war J3 Cub, by which name it was more widely known to service personnel. Of the 5,500 L-4 variants produced between 1942 and 1945, some went to liaison squadrons and of the USAAF, but the vast majority went to US Army Ground Forces, for use as Air Observation Posts (Air OPs) with the Field Artillery. In both air and ground forces, the L-4 was also used as a flying Jeep, among other things carrying priority mail and personnel between HQs and command posts. Its Continental engine produced only 65hp, yet the L-4's excellent short field performance enabled it to operate from the smallest of improvised airstrips, including roads, adjacent to command posts.
Unlike most other combat aircraft, the L-4 was un-armed and un-armoured. It was one of the smallest aircraft of WW2 and, with a cruising speed of only 75 mph, it was the slowest. Nevertheless, it has been claimed that a single L-4, directing the firepower of an entire Division, could bring a greater weight of explosives to bear on a target then any other aircraft of that period. With the exception of the atomic bomb carrying B-29 Superfortress, no other single aircraft had the destructive capability of the diminutive L-4. It was most widely used in Europe, where more than 2,700 served with the Field Artillery, and of these nearly 900 were lost through enemy action or in accidents. Of those that survived the war, about 150 were shipped back to the US, most of the remainder eventually being sold to civilian purchasers in Britain, France, Switzerland, Denmark and elsewhere in Europe. More than 60 years on many of these are still flying with, in recent years, an increasing number being restored to their original military configuration and markings. A truly remarkable 'warbird', long to be remembered. "

Quickie Q-200
This is the Q-200 high performance sport aircraft by Quickie Aircraft Corporation. This sleek two seater was a homebuilt 'kit plane' that you assembled. This version was the high performance 100HP model powered by the Continental O-200. This is the Q-200 high performance sport aircraft by Quickie Aircraft Corporation. This sleek two seater was a homebuilt 'kit plane' that you assembled. This version was the high performance 100HP model powered by the Continental O-200. The futuristic design featured a Canard 'Twin Wing'layout with elevators on the front wing and ailerons on the wing. Some interesting features are the Flexor reverse spoiler system, the twin center fuel tanks that used a fuel transfer system similar to Concord. The main landing gear was mounted in aerodynamic skirts in the wingtips for the front wing. Incredibly, the Q only weighed 550 LBS dry, 1100 Max at take-off, and featured a very small wingspan of 16 feet total. Mind you, you had two sets of wings.
This package features 13 different exterior high detail paint schemes that range from base line kit style, to supercar color selections, to air racer variants with wild paint schemes and stripes. Interiors vary from nearly each aircrat with panels in gray, light blue, striped paint and color paint, carbonfiber, and also wood. Some features include 3D instrumentation, the Asobo GNS530 GPS system, a simple base line autopilot to help on long flights, an elaborate warning light system, Flexor controls, fuel readouts for both tanks and a fuel transfer system that requires constant attention on long flights. Other features include OshKosh parking mode (parking mode) that deploys two small camping tents at the tail, and a plexi selector that changes the 'outside only' plexiglass bubble between tints of 'dark, medium, and nearly clear' plexi choices. The plexi also features the now famous Asobo rain effects with streaming rain, and also fine detail plexi scratches.
The aircraft will max out at 180 knots, full throttle. This is a HOT little plane with very moderate power to weight ratio. It is recommended that you do not use full throttle on take-offs. Just like other high performance sport planes, such as the Pitts biplane and Extra 330, you must be careful on your rollout on take-offs, lest you spin her out accidentally.
I have created a nice manual for it that you can download and read before purchase to make sure you would be happy with her. This cool manual features a lot of screenshots and notes with arrows pointing to the various systems and lights and knobs and bits, explaining how everything works, the hidden features you do not always find, and even the basics of how to fly it.
If you love futuristic things, X-Wings, sport aircraft, high performance planes, homebuilts, radical aircraft, things that are NOT NORMAL, this baby is definitely for you!
NOTE: You 'MUST' know where your MSFS Community folder is. You 'MUST' manually direct this plane into that folder to install it. This installer cannot 'see' MSFS on computers.
UPDATE: Build 1. 1 is the present 'Build' version available.
Update carried out; Transponder was not turning on with cold starts. This is now repaired. This makes the Q200 for MSFS Build 1. 1.
