In April 1951, the Federal Council's message concerning the authorized construction of 150 DH-112 Mk. 1 Venom aircraft was approved by the Federal Parliament with a commitment credit of 175 million francs. The license agreement included the Ghost-48 radial engine. It was produced by Gebrüder Sulzer AG and was installed in the aircraft from the 30th production aircraft. The Venom was the first Swiss Air Force fighter to be equipped with an ejection seat from the outset.
In February 1954, the Parliament approved the construction of another 100 DH-112 Mk. 4 Venom aircraft under license. 226 DH-112 Mk. 1 and Mk. 4 aircraft were used by troops as ground combat aircraft from 1954 to 1983. 24 DH-112 Mk. 1R aircraft were used as reconnaissance aircraft by 10 Squadron from 1954 to 1968. This was the largest fleet that served Switzerland. The new nose cone, introduced in the 1970s, houses a new UHF radio, a bomb aiming computer and a friend and foe device (IFF). The Venom was retired in 1983.
Our modeling is based on the latest MK4 Swiss version with instruments in metric values and texts in French.

The airport is named after Sitka's former mayor Rocky Gutierrez. The airport includes a single terminal with a jetway with air service that is operated for a whole year by Alaska Airlines and seasonally by Delta Air Lines regional affiliate Delta Connection which is operated by SkyWest Airlines. The single paved runway is located on a causeway that juts off Japonski Island—buried on airport grounds patients who died from tuberculosis from the nearby SEARHC/Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital had to be relocated during construction. That section of the airport is, by this day, unofficially referred to as The Mausoleum.
Sitka Rocky Gutierrez Airport is located at an elevation of approximately 26 feet (8 meters) above mean sea level. The property includes one runway designated 11/29 with an asphalt surface measuring 7,200 by 150 feet (2,195 x 46 m). For one year, ending January 2, 2011, the facility had 23,100 aircraft operations, that on average, equals 63 per day. 43% of them represent air taxi, 8% scheduled commercial, 43% general aviation, and 6% military. At that time, there were thirty aircraft based at this airport, with 70% of them single-engine, 10% military, 13% ultralight, and 7% multi-engine.
SIT also has hangars and offices that serve local air traffic control, together with the Civil Air Patrol, and various private enterprises. U. S. Coast Guard Air Station Sitka has a complex attached to the Sitka Rocky Safety hazards involve ocean waves washing onto the runway during high winds, storms due to its exposed location, and significant flocks of birds that live very close to the airport. Because of these hazards, the airport is listed by airfarewatchdog. com as one of the ten most thrilling landing experiences in the world.
Alaska Airlines has served Sitka for about fifty years. In 1967, Alaska Air was operating Boeing 727-100 jet service into the facility on a round trip from Seattle to Kotzebue and was also operating flights with Convair 240 propliner service nonstop to Juneau. By 1969, Alaska Air had added a few stops on the route between Seattle and Alaska. It was operating a Boeing 727-100 jetliner on a round trip routing from Seattle to Sitka and the final destination at Kotzebue in addition to working Convair 240 service on a round trip routing of Annette Island Airport - Wrangell - Petersburg - Sitka - Juneau. Over the years, Alaska Air also operated Boeing 727-200 and 737-200 jets into the airport before switching to later model Boeing 737 jetliners. In 1986, Anchorage-based AirPac was working jet service into SIT with a British Aerospace BAe 146-100 aircraft that was flying a round trip routing of Seattle - Sitka - Anchorage.
Alaska Airlines, Delta Air Lines, and Alaska Seaplanes now operate in the airport.
The main plane on this route is a Boeing 737-700 passenger, cargo, and mixed modification by Alaska Airlines.

The airport also serves nearby St. John and is often used by those traveling to the British Virgin Islands.
The airport operates one main runway, 7,200 ft × 150 ft (2,195 m × 46 m) long. The terminal operates 11 gates.
Historically, a number of airlines operated scheduled passenger jet service into St. Thomas as well as St. Croix in the past. One air carrier that has served St. Thomas for many years is American Airlines. In 1974, American was serving the airport with Boeing 707 and Boeing 727-100 jetliners with nonstop flights to New York City. In 1994, American was operating Airbus A300-600R wide body jets into St. Thomas with nonstop service to Miami.
Cyril E. King Airport also hosted a number of charter airliners, from the 757 to the 767 to the DC-10. It was known as Harry S Truman Airport until 1984, when it was renamed to honor Cyril Emmanuel King, the second elected governor of the U. S. Virgin Islands. A new passenger terminal opened in November 1990 and retained the name.

Our passion for authenticity and attention to detail brings to life one of North America's most dynamic and important aviation hubs. As the second largest passenger hub for United Airlines, Houston Intercontinental Airport, officially known as George Bush Intercontinental Airport, provides service to a multitude of domestic and international destinations.
This bustling airport located in Houston, Texas, USA, stands as the 15th busiest airport in the world, with five passenger terminals and a cargo area spread over an impressive 10,000 acres. Our scenery add-on recreates this expansive airport to the minutest detail, bringing the heart of Texas aviation right into your virtual cockpit. We invite you to experience the bustling runways, taxiways, terminals, and infrastructure that make KIAH a key node in the global aviation network.
Features:
The airport is fully updated to its 2023 status.
Terminal C has been modeled from scratch, boasting full interiors. All gates in this terminal utilize the GSX "Airport walkers" feature, enabling the visualization of passengers within the terminal interiors and during the boarding/deboarding process via GSX.
A comprehensive integration with GSX Pro is implemented, with an included profile featuring more than 1500 custom pushback routes, 49 walk-in gates, and 156 VGDS.
New door automation has been introduced, ensuring all doors at Terminals B and C automatically open/close during GSX-enabled passenger boarding/deboarding. The relevant information panel at the gate animates to display the GSX operation in progress.
All parking positions in the GSX menu have custom friendly names, circumventing the limited naming convention of MSFS by default.
The airport definition file provides high accuracy, with proper parking codes for AI, and has been validated with both FSLTL and FS Traffic.
Full Dynamic Lights are implemented, with a spread of hundreds of light sources across the airport.
Bridges and underpasses are portrayed using the latest high-resolution terraforming technology.
The Skyway Train is animated for enhanced realism.
Taxiway lights are fully customized, with dynamic lighting, including orange/green variations on taxiways intersecting runways.
Most textures are improved and upscaled using AI, and then manually converted to PBR.
MSFS Parallax shaders have been extensively utilized to augment the appearance of buildings without modeled interiors, with almost negligible performance impact.
Choose between 2K and 4K background textures. Click here to open a comparison in a new window: https://fsdreamteam. com/KIAH_comparison. html

PRODUCT NOTE
Due to MSFS ground photogrammetry engine, it's common to face a few jagged edges on some airports borders/corners. As you may know, if photogrammetry is set to OFF they disappear.
So far the SDK does not provide a tool to handle this properly, and this issue will be present when photogrammetry is ON, whether you use a default or add-on airport.
It's not a big deal, it shows over a small area, but it's there. So it's a user's choice to set photogrammetry ON or OFF to enjoy the flight.
