Located on 1600 hectares of pristine bushveld in the shadow of the Waterberg mountains, Zebula commands a most spectacular setting. Undulating, indigenous tree-covered hills and wide-open grasslands are punctuated with frequent dams and waterholes – a diverse landscape that supports a wide variety of game, birds and small wildlife.
Upmarket luxury homes are tastefully designed and privately positioned so as not to impose on the surroundings. The Peter Matkovitch-designed golf course respects the environment, following the natural contours of the terrain, a masterful symphony of indigenous bush and landscaped areas. Surprising for its bushveld location, water supply is both abundant and sustainable, ensuring that the quality of the greens is unrivalled and that playing surfaces are always top notch.
Naturally occurring game include Kudu, Impala, Blue Wildebeest, Zebra, Blesbok, Red Haartebeest, Giraffe, Eland, Jackal, Warthog, Ostrich as well as many other indigenous species. Visitors and residents are able to walk, run, cycle or drive on the estate and get up close and personal with the wildlife, making a trip to Zebula a true back to nature experience.
This package contains the airport and the resort.

The site of AFB Ysterplaat was originally used as a civilian airfield, known as Maitland Aerodrome, from as early as 1929. With the coming of World War II the land the aerodrome sat on was donated to aid the war effort by Sir David Graaff, on condition his estate would be consulted should it ever be used for non-military purposes. During and after the World War II Ysterplaat was used as a maintenance and assembly depot for aircraft.
Today, due to increased budgetary restrictions, all activity at the base has basically come to a halt. There were plans to convert the base into a civilian airport with a military presence, but no decisions have been taken yet.
