Tenerife Scenery
This add-on replaces the default MSFS ground textures on Tenerife with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the scenery in several ways and includes optional mesh.
1. Aerial Imagery
- Version “Standard” (20. 5 GB): high resolution, best ratio between sharpness of textures and file size – recommended for the majority of users
- Version “Premium” (58. 1 GB): very high resolution on the whole island – recommended if you want the best experience w... This add-on replaces the default MSFS ground textures on Tenerife with custom high-resolution color-corrected aerial imagery. It also improves the scenery in several ways and includes optional mesh.

- realistic manual color correction that brings Tenerife to life
- sharper image with more visible details (e. g. rock structure)
- no green tint, especially no green roads and no green sand
- no clouds visible on the ground
- higher resolution (depending on the version used)
You can decide which version you would like to download and use. You can switch between versions anytime.
2. Mesh (DEM)
- 3 versions with resolutions of 2 m, 4 m and 10 m – you choose the best for your hardware and graphics settings
- Mesh for the airports is included and has been adjusted to eliminate bumps on the ground
- Please note: This mesh is an experimental feature. While scenery and textures are very FPS friendly, this mesh uses more hardware resources, especially the 2 m version. All of the above screenshots were taken with the 4 m mesh add-on.
3. Scenery
- Improvements to the ports:
- added 3D docks and more than 90 hand-placed 3D boats, ships, yachts and cruise ships to the port of Santa Cruz
- added oil rigs to the ports of Santa Cruz and Granadilla
- oil rigs and some cruise ships have helipads that can be landed on
- added cranes and container ships to the cargo terminal of Santa Cruz
- added night lighting to all ports and piers
- ports on the aerial imagery are no longer underwater
- Improvements to the vegetation:
- added palm trees and other typical vegetation to coastal cities
- replaced trees at Teide crater with typical vegetation
- replaced deciduous trees with pine trees in some areas
- removed incorrectly placed trees along the coast
- general changes to the vegetation to match with the aerial imagery (e. g. bushes instead of trees in rocky areas)
- Other improvements:
- removed some incorrectly placed buildings
- added some missing night lights at the coast of Santa Cruz
- applied a custom water mask in some areas to make breakwaters and piers visible
Aerial imagery, mesh and scenery are put together as separate add-ons and can be used independently of one another.
Compatibility
This add-on is compatible with the airport by Sim-Wings (no changes to the files necessary anymore). Several freeware airports were tested as well and no issues found.

The 650 mile, 1000 kilometer, Tennessee River is the 6th largest river by discharge rate in N America and has many large bridges and dams. It starts in Knoxville Tennessee traveling south west through Chattanooga to Guntersville Alabama then heading north west to join the Ohio River at Paducah, Kentucky. The 650 mile, 1000 kilometer, Tennessee River is the 6th largest river by discharge rate in N America and has many large bridges and dams. It starts in Knoxville Tennessee traveling south west through Chattanooga to Guntersville Alabama then heading north west to join the Ohio River at Paducah, Kentucky. This is about 30 miles, 50 kilometer, east of Cairo, Illinois where the Ohio River joins the Mississippi River. The river is important for moving materials by barge and has 9 dams and locks to facilitate the traffic.
River barges and rail bridges in the sim are mostly covered by water but this package brings them and the river to life. Models of dams and bridges have replaced the default or missing items in the sim. Many of the bridges are very large, built in the early 1900’s and are still in use, but many have been demolished and replaced by more modern designs.
The MSFS scenery is a vast improvement over previous flight sims. However bridges over large waterways, rivers or other bodies of water are very noticeable and are an eyesore destroying realism. Rkbridger packages solve that issue with bridge packages which show the bridges in their true magnificence and also improves the entire landscape along the stretch of water modeled. All bridges are modeled in the correct architectural style with appropriate night lighting and traffic flowing on the bridges.
POIs have been placed at each model and are listed below.
Photogrammetry must be ON to ensure models integrate correctly with the sim.
The package works with both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 but due to terrain elevation errors in MSFS2024 a few bridges do not currently integrate into MSFS2024 correctly.
