The Airfield Bielefeld (EDLI) of the city with the same name is located in the middle of OWL (Ostwestfalen-Lippe) and has served the city as a commercial airfield since 1930. Today, equipped with PAPI approach lights and a runway lighting system, it mostly serves as a starting point for the well-known companies located in Bielefeld for their business trips.

Exactly 300 years later, the first airport was built by the Dutch. It served as a hub for American forces in the Second World War, which it was too small for, though. Therefore, a new airport was constructed – “Fla... Antwerp International Airport is a small international airport serving the City of Antwerp, in the Flemish Region of Belgium. Located south of the city, it is mainly used for charter flights and some scheduled flights as well as business and general aviation.
