HOW TO PLAY:
Start the game anywhere in the world on the water or seaplane track, click the ignition key to start the boat engine, PRESS THE UP/DOWN KEY ON THE JOYSTICK TO REMOVE THE ANCHOR, put the engine at 100% and wait a few seconds for the boat to start moving. Water trails start with the slowest speed you are on. The boat does not have a reverse motor. Use the elevator UP command to move your boat backwards.
Use the aileron controls to turn left and right. The rudder controls simulate axial movement control and do not activate the steering wheel animation, only the aileron control activates the steering wheel animation, as it is the main control method.
There is a tablet on the left panel with key blinds for ease of use in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.
There are buttons to turn on/off neon lights and instructions to turn on/off navigation lights.
IMPORTANT: In MSFS 2020, the autopilot is engaged via the "Y" button on the joystick. In MSFS 2024, consider configuring your joystick with this same button assigned to make it easier to use. It is important to note that the autopilot has one function: HDG lock. Therefore, when activating the autopilot, the HDG lock will be automatic, without the need for any other intervention. Configure buttons to facilitate the change of heading course on your joystick to make the autopilot easier to use.
Example: we recommend configuring the decrease in heading definition with the following button combination: "X" + "A" + "LB". To increase heading definition, use "X" + "A" + "RB".
Do the same procedure in MSFS 2020 and 2024.
IMPORTANT: JUST AS YOU WOULD NOT DO IN REAL LIFE, DO NOT GO OUT IN THE SEA WITH WAVES HIGHER THAN 104 KNOTS (193KM/H) AT THE RISK OF CAPSIZING THE BOAT AS IT WOULD HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE.
DURING THE SIMULATION, THE SINKING OF THE BOAT IS NOT DRAMATIC AND UNEXPECTED EFFECTS MAY OCCUR CAUSED BY THE SIMULATION ENVIRONMENT ITSELF AND NOT BY A PRODUCT DEFECT
It is important to note that the autopilot may behave poorly at low speeds. Consider using it only at high speeds to simulate cruising.
In MSFS 2024, the passenger may be hidden by default. Consider using the EFB to add it to the payload menu.
MSFS 2020/2024 does not have a realistic drift in the water, so navigation is still imprecise in several aspects. Do not expect extreme realism - the focus of this add-on is to provide a visual and enjoyable experience for those looking for alternatives to flying. Each instrument on the boat, livery and modeling was made with great care, affection and attention to detail to meet the highest commercial standards that MSFS and other markets demand, but for several other reasons that go beyond the developer, sailing with boats in MSFS is a challenge that is not always pleasant. Always keep in mind that everything was done to ensure that you have the best possible experience despite the limitations.
It is important to say that Microsoft Flight Simulator is a game being released in its initial version. The boat was built, approved and published from the Dev Alpha provided by Microsoft, and unexpected situations may happen until the game reaches a stable version. Please understand that unexpected situations may not be a defect of the product, but of the Simulator. The seven seas of the virtual world of Microsoft Flight Simulator have gained a new exploration vehicle: Walk entire Super Tanker, a Type 56 Suezmax class ship measuring 274 meters long and more than 50 meters high made of pure steel. The ship was designed to transport crude oil and its capacity exceeds 1 million barrels on mainly long-haul routes.
The ship is formidable and despite its size you can control it at sea without difficulty, as the steering controls are optimized for joysticks on... The seven seas of the virtual world of Microsoft Flight Simulator have gained a new exploration vehicle: Walk entire Super Tanker, a Type 56 Suezmax class ship measuring 274 meters long and more than 50 meters high made of pure steel. The ship was designed to transport crude oil and its capacity exceeds 1 million barrels on mainly long-haul routes.
The ship is formidable and despite its size you can control it at sea without difficulty, as the steering controls are optimized for joysticks on Desktop and Xbox platforms. The ship has a command bridge fully modeled and detailed according to real-world ships of its class, with functional GPS and tablet to control functions such as high beams, anchors from buoys and a crude oil transfer system from SPM buoys.
Still on the subject of detail, the entire exterior of the ship was carefully modeled, recreating the smallest details while respecting an acceptable FPS limit for a pleasant simulation. You will have at your disposal 17 liveries from real-world companies, some of which operate the Suezmax ship in reality, and others are adaptations of other classes. There are also working crew modeled with a high level of detail on the upper deck in poses representing various activities.
If you are looking for a highly detailed ship for pleasant sailings in different ports or marine regions around the world, this vehicle was made for you.
There are a good number of liveries available on a ship that behaves well in all weather. It is possible to activate anchors or SPM buoys after turning off the engines and it is recommended to activate the active pause to take a closer look at the crew on deck.

HOW TO PLAY:
Start the game anywhere in the world on the water or seaplane track, put the engine at 100% and wait a few seconds (10 to 15 seconds for full engine functionality) for the boat to start moving. Water trails start with the slowest speed you are on. The boat have a reverse engine.
Use the aileron controls to turn left and right. The rudder controls simulate axial movement control moving the ship sideways to the left or right and do not activate the steering wheel animation, only the aileron control activates the steering wheel animation, as it is the main control method.
Use the multifunction tablet to activate lights and other boat functions, such as mooring and SPM oil transfer and this controls are only available when the boat is turned off.
In MSFS 2024 your character will spawn in the oil transfer engine room, in the middle of the ship. Walk forward, turn right into the hallway and go up the stairs at the end of the hallway to reach the ship's deck. It is possible to walk around the entire ship.
Ship control has been optimized to represent enjoyable gameplay. In this sense, the ship's acceleration, its maximum speed (established at 30 knots to facilitate those operating long-distance transfers) and turning capacity were designed for those who want to have fun, despite having in their hands a ship fully detailed and modeled as in the real life. The current water physics is not suitable for a high-level simulation for vessels although there is the intention that this will be worked on when there is an improvement in the game's physical capabilities.
Use the power lever to control acceleration or reverse and the left and right aileron controls to make course changes. It is possible to use the aileron up and down to accelerate the ship over short distances, as well as use the rudder to move the ship laterally to facilitate operation in ports, docks or regions with restricted maneuvering, but keep in mind that the limits water/ground conditions defined by the Flight Simulator environment cause false grounding in seaplanes or any type of water vehicle - as well as passing under bridges or navigating in cities with photogrammetry - this is not a product defect.

The Superyacht was inspired by the Sanlorenzo 52Steel class of luxury yachts and has technical specifications compatible with it, with a few exceptions for better compatibility with the game. The ship has a pier for docking (controlled by flaps) and its autopilot can be switched between HDG and GPS NAV modes. The ship can be turned on and off using the ignition key on the panel. There is a tablet on the center panel with functions such as Floodlight, to turn on or off the underwater LED lights, Flag, which turns on or off the nighttime illumination of the flag, NAV Lights, to turn on or off the navigation lights and spotlights, AP Disengage, to turn off the AP after it has been activated, AP Heading and AP GPS NAV to activate those corresponding driving modes. The panel on the left side shows the number of flags available for use on the ship. The flags mostly correspond to the default distribution language of Microsoft Flight Simulator.
IMPORTANT: JUST AS YOU WOULD NOT DO IN REAL LIFE, DO NOT GO OUT IN THE SEA WITH WAVES HIGHER THAN 30 KNOTS (55 KM/H) AT THE RISK OF CAPSIZING THE BOAT AS IT WOULD HAPPEN IN REAL LIFE.
DURING THE SIMULATION, THE SINKING OF THE BOAT IS NOT DRAMATIC AND UNEXPECTED EFFECTS MAY OCCUR CAUSED BY THE SIMULATION ENVIRONMENT ITSELF AND NOT BY A PRODUCT DEFECT.
MSFS 2020/2024 does not have a realistic drift in the water, so navigation is still imprecise in several aspects. Do not expect extreme realism - the focus of this add-on is to provide a visual and enjoyable experience for those looking for alternatives to flying. Each instrument on the boat, livery and modeling was made with great care, affection and attention to detail to meet the highest commercial standards that MSFS and other markets demand, but for several other reasons that go beyond the developer, sailing with boats in MSFS is a challenge that is not always pleasant. Always keep in mind that everything was done to ensure that you have the best possible experience despite the limitations.
