Hiroshima Airport
Hiroshima Airport (広島空港, Hiroshima Kūkō) is located in the city of Mihara, roughly 50km east of Hiroshima city, Opened in 1993 to replace the cramped, seaside Hiroshima-Nishi Airport, it was designed specifically to handle the wide-body jets that the old airport couldn't. RWY 28 involves a circling approach over the terrain if the winds aren't in your favor or a VOR and RNP approach.

Following the 2016 Kumamoto earthquake which severely damaged the airport, Kumamoto International Airport Co. , Ltd. began developing a new terminal building which was planned to withstand strong earthquakes. It was also made to integrates both domestic and international flights. The new terminal building officially opened on March 23, 2023.
