Hannover Airport (IATA: HAJ, ICAO: EDDV) is the international airport of Hannover, capital of the German state of Lower Saxony. The landside areas with shops, restaurants, and travel agents are interconnected, but each has its separate airside area with a few more facilities. Terminals A and B each have six boarding gates equipped with jet bridges, while Terminal C has eight of them. [4] Additional bus gates are available in each concourse. Terminal A underwent a major refurbishment as the first concourse from April 2013 and reopened on 9 July 2014.
The additional Terminal D to the east of the main terminal is a rebuilt hangar which is exclusively used by the Royal Air Force to transport British troops to and from Northern Germany.

On the territory of the future airport in 1952, a NATO air base was built, which housed the 50th wing of the US air force. Most of Hahn air base was returned to German civil authorities on 30 September 1993, although USAFE retained a small portion as a radio communications facility until its final return to German authorities in 2012. It is still frequently used for military charters operated by, among others, Atlas Air , Delta Air Lines, and United Airlines.

EDFR - Rothenburg Airfield
Welcome to the Rothenburg ob der Tauber EDFR commercial airfield, probably one of the most popular approach destinations for VFR pilots due to its beautiful location and the lovely old town of Rothenburg, which can be quickly reached by rental bikes.
The airfield is located at 1309 ft. which corresponds to 399 m, about 3 kilometres east of the town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
Starting in 1957, flying took place on the current site, which was then expanded into an airfield in 1960 and in... The airfield is located at 1309 ft. which corresponds to 399 m, about 3 kilometres east of the town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber.
Starting in 1957, flying took place on the current site, which was then expanded into an airfield in 1960 and in the course of the 1960s, two hangars and a workshop were added. Originally, the runway was asphalted to 450m in the 70s, before it was extended to 600m and a tower was built. From 1980, the runway was given permission for customs and passenger handling, and in 2003 the runway was extended to just under 1000m.
Today the runway has dimensions of 950m x 20m asphalt with alignments RWY 03 and RWY 21, the runway round elevation is 2500ft. MSL (Main Sea Level).
The radio frequency is 126. 360 and the maximum take-off weight (MTOW) is 5700kg for all aircraft. The Aero Club Rothenburg o. d. T. e. V. is located at the airfield and has about 150 members in the field of powered flight, gliding and ultralight.
The airfield has several service buildings, a tower, six hangars and a restaurant. The fuel station contains JETA1 as well as AVGAS.
The special thing about Rothenburg is the approach, which takes place around a slope near the airfieldas a reward for a nice flight, you then borrow bicycles and experience a wonderful day in the historic district of Rothenburg, 3 km away.
- Buildings, restaurant, hangars and gas station at the airfield were modeled after the original - for this purpose the airfield was flown to in real and many detail shots were taken.
- Close cooperation with the airfield operator on site to create an atmosphere like in reality - special thanks to the local air sports club for drone shots of the airfield as well as the flight control.

The Mainbullau airfield ( ICAO : EDFU ) is a commercial airfield located near Mainbullau , a district of Miltenberg in Lower Franconia, Germany.
The former glider airfield served as an emergency landing site before the war. The first flights were undertaken in 1957. In 1960, an asphalt runway, aircraft hangars and a tower were built. The airfield was equipped with a gas station. It is the base of the Bavarian Air Rescue Squadron .

The Schwarze Heide airfield (EDLD) is located in the Kirchheller Heide in the northern Ruhr area, Germany . The airfield is operated jointly by the city of Bottrop , the municipality of HĂĽnxe , the city of Dinslaken and the city of Voerde.
The 1500 meter long and 30 meter wide, asphalted runway has a beacon with threshold flashes in both approach directions. The airfield is open for flight operations in summer from 08:00 to 20:30 and in winter from 09:00 to sunset.

The Airfield Bielefeld (EDLI) of the city with the same name is located in the middle of OWL (Ostwestfalen-Lippe) and has served the city as a commercial airfield since 1930. Today, equipped with PAPI approach lights and a runway lighting system, it mostly serves as a starting point for the well-known companies located in Bielefeld for their business trips.
