Kinsarvik is a part of a scenic area known as Hardanger in Norway. Hardanger is home to Folgefonna, Norway's third largest glacier, fjords, mountains, and the popular Trolltunga (Troll's Tongue).
ABOUT AIRLIFT BASE KINSARVIK – ENW1V
Vetlemoen Heliport was established in 1987 and includes a hangar and a small housing complex for the crews on duty. The hangar can fit 5 AS350/H125 helicopters but is usually serving 2-3 of them. Additionally, an A109E used for Human External Cargo (HEC) operations is based in Kinsarvik.
In Kinsarvik the Airlift Part-145 organization can provide line-maintenance for the AS350/H125 and the A109E, as well as base-maintenance for the AS350/H125.
The maximum permitted D-value is 13. 1m, SAR/POLICE/HOSP exempt. The Super Puma drops by sometimes, on special approval from the authorities. SAR and HEMS operators regularly visit to refuel (AW101/H135/H145).
The heliport uses the Norwegian G-class airspace unicom frequency of 123. 500MHz.
See appendix A for recommended approach and departure routes. The South-Eastern approach/departure is particularly scenic, taking you over the amazing waterfalls of Husedalen valley.
ABOUT AIRLIFT AS
Airlift AS was founded in 1986, and acquired local Kinsarvik helicopter company, Helikopterteneste, in 1999.
As of March 2025, Airlift AS operates the following fleet:
- 18 AS350/H125
- 3 AW169
- 1 A109E
- 1 AS332C
Airlift has bases at Bringeland (Main base), Kinsarvik, Flesland, Hovden, Kjevik, Torp, Gardermoen, Frosta, Tromsø and Hammerfest.
The AS350 is the workhorse of the onshore helicopter market in Norway, and Airlift's onshore operation is focused on Helicopter External Sling-Load Operations (HESLO), commonly known as longline (or utility) operations. The main driving force for onshore helicopter operations in Norway is the energy sector and is mainly focused on the hydroelectric industry. Helicopters are used in all phases of hydroelectric infrastructure construction and maintenance in areas not accessible by roads.
This ranges from flying building materials for concrete formwork, concrete, foundations for powerline towers, assembly of powerline towers, stringing of powerlines, to later support of the same infrastructure. Other uses are photo/filming, powerline inspections, geological survey flights, shipborne expeditions, arctic operations, charter and sightseeing. Kinsarvik is strategically placed by the Hardangervidda plateau, which is also a National Park. There are a lot of cabins in that area, and they use helicopters from Kinsarvik to resupply provisions.
The A109E is used for HEC-operations, primarily installing and changing powerline obstacle marker balls. The nature of this operation means that the A109E is rarely in Kinsarvik, except for line-maintenance.
Airlift's 3 AW169s operate on a contract for the Norwegian Coastal Administration for Marine Pilot Operations in Bergen and Hammerfest, as well as in support of the Police in Northern Norway. The Marine Pilot Operation is a Helicopter Hoist Operation and is flown day or night (NVG) VFR and IFR.
The AS332C is used as a heavy lifter and specializes in global flare-tip change operations for offshore installations.
ABOUT THE INCLUDED HELIPADS
The mountains around Mauranger are well suited to use water run-off from the glacier and is home to a complex infrastructure of power stations and reservoirs. It holds several sites related to a vast network of tunnels for water between the reservoirs, where valves can be opened and closed to steer water where it is needed for power generation. Several of those sites are included in this package. Typical missions are flying personnel and equipment from Mauranger Hydroelectric Power Station to the various sites. Below is a listing of the included sites. See Appendix B for an overview of some of the infrastructure in the area.
Additionally, a helipad near the scenic Trolltunga is included. This was built used for ease of transportation of Statkraft personnel from Ringedalen.
- Mauranger Hydroelectric Powerstation – ENW7G – Parking 0
- Vinduet – ENW6K – Parking 2
- Kvanngrøvatnet – ENW5R – Parking 2
- Jukla East – ENW3Y – Parking 2
- Trolltunga Helipad – ENW4Z – Parking 3
SIMULATOR TECHNICAL DETAILS
The helicopter parkings should be spawnable with the Asobo H125, but may not work with other helicopter types. There are also included spawnable areas for float planes near each site.

After five years and over two billion dollars in renovations, Portland International Airport is ready for business. Now you can fly the latest and greatest version of this incredible airport in Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Former Portlander Bill Womack returns with a massively updated version for sim pilots. This version of KPDX took far longer than the original to complete, primarily owing to the real-world project being a work in progress. We have had assistance from several PDX employees on the ground whose help was invaluable, providing photos and feedback at every step of development and testing. Using available plans and drawings, we've accomplished something rare in the sim scenery world - we've finished the sim airport ahead of the real thing! The final phase of terminal construction is slated to be completed very late in 2025, but in MSFS you don't have to wait to enjoy the end result.
We spent countless hours adding details, and optimizing this version for the best simulator experience yet. The result, we think you'll agree, is the definitive version of this iconic, and delightful airport. And don't forget to stop and pet the therapy llamas on your way through the terminal.
Highly detailed rendition of the airport as it will look at the end of 2025
New terminal building
New B concourse
New E concourse extension
The terminal and concourses have full interiors
Many new buildings and garages
Completely re-worked ground textures
Expanded taxiway sign network
Four new custom jetways, complete with branding
Animated features such as flags and a Tri-Met Max light rail train
Includes custom GSX Pro profile that you can enjoy on day 1 (install via the Contrail App)

Description:
In December 2023, I completed the construction of the old Zhuhai Airport and sold it on the four platforms of Xianyu, Taobao, Flyer Mall, and SimMarket. As a novice developer at the time, the quality of the old Zhuhai Airport was quite poor. After a year of experience and improvement, I have now reached what I consider to be an acceptable standard. Fortunately, I started the reconstruction of the new Zhuhai Airport in October 2024 and completed it in early March 2025.
I am very grateful to the first group of buyers who supported me. Your support at that time gave me the motivation to persevere until now. I apologize for making you wait for a year, but the new Zhuhai Airport is now complete, and I will fulfill my previous promise by providing it to you for free. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart!
Features:
-
The T1 and T2 terminals are modeled based on real-life photos. The departure level of T1 includes medium-detail interiors with static characters to enhance the atmosphere.
-
Rich ground details, including numerous Chinese characters, and ground textures and taxiway markings utilizing PBR materials, which have received satisfaction and recognition from personnel within Zhuhai Airport.
-
Parking positions are placed according to the latest aeronautical charts. In addition to the regular T1 terminal parking positions 1-23, virtual positions 24 and 25 are added to simulate positions 18-20, and positions 21-23 can be used in combination to accommodate an aircraft with a wingspan of no more than 65m. Regular parking positions also include T2 terminal ground positions 219-224 and airshow apron positions 301-311.
-
Numerous custom elements are used to ensure realism, including custom airport approach lights, strobe lights, runway centerline lights, taxiway edge lights, runway exit lights, runway guard lights, apron lighting, taxiway signage, animated flags, animated windsocks, and dynamic ground vehicles.
-
Yongkou Mountain and nearby hills have been repaired, as they were too flat in the game. After terrain adjustment, they now have the natural undulations they should have. Simple modeling has also been done for the "fortified tower" and the leisure park at the top of Jinfengtai Mountain.
-
Red anti-collision lights on some tall buildings have been restored. They flash regularly on top and are very clear at night, without disappearing due to distance, to prevent collisions with buildings due to dim lighting.
-
The total number of polygons for all models in the airport is around 120,000 (compared to 1. 1 million in the old airport), and LOD technology is used for models that consume more polygons. Personal testing shows that the FPS remains stable at 60 when large aircraft models are not loaded, making it friendly to performance.
-
The airport data is strictly made according to airport specifications. The runway slope, ILS system, and placement of signal stations are all consistent with the aeronautical charts. The localizer, glideslope, and PAPI light angles are also set according to the chart coordinates, with a glide angle of 3 degrees. The ILS frequencies are also consistent with reality, but only aircraft models using in-game data can read them.
Notes:
-
Airport data issue: This airport is currently a non-public airport in China, and you will not be able to find any information about it online (such as aeronautical charts). However, I speculate that when the T2 terminal becomes operational, Zhuhai Jinwan Airport will be upgraded to an international airport with international flights, and the charts will be made public at that time.
-
As the T2 terminal at Zhuhai Jinwan is still under construction, I have not modeled its interior. I will visit the airport again after T2 opens to gather reference materials and will update the interior in the future.
Compatibility with MSFS 2024:
The file is currently readable by MSFS 2024, but compatibility issues may prevent flawless performance due to code discrepancies. Final decisions on full compatibility will be made after the SU02 update.

Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (IATA: SZB, ICAO: WMSA) (formerly Subang International Airport/Kuala Lumpur International Airport), often called Subang Airport or Subang Skypark, is an airport located in Subang, Petaling District, Selangor, Malaysia.
Subang International Airport served as Kuala Lumpur's main airport from 1965 to 1998, before the Kuala Lumpur International Airport in Sepang was opened. Although plans existed to convert the airport into a low-cost carrier hub, the change was opposed by Subang Jaya residents. The airport was repurposed to serve general aviation as well as turboprop domestic and international flights. In 1996, the airport was renamed after Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Al-Haj (Salahuddin of Selangor), the eleventh Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and eighth Sultan of Selangor.
Subang Airport is currently the hub for Firefly and Malindo Air commercial turboprop services. Transmile Air Services is the only other non-passenger non-turbo prop aircraft landing and utilising Subang Airport Terminal 2. While heavily opposed by Ara Damansara residents of the noise of the jet engines, Raya Airways still operates out of SZB servicing DHL and other local hubs.

In 1942, during the second world war, the United States Army Air Force through the "Airport Development Program", built the new runway and the passenger terminal. In 1975, there was an extension to the Boeings landing. The airport operates domestic flights and has the capacity to receive medium-sized aircraft such as the Boeing 737. The current passenger terminal is considered small for the daily flow of passengers it receives, and must be refurbished. The announcement of the announcement by the Government of the State of Pernambuco is awaited so that the bidding for the future reform is carried out. The current maneuvering yard allows simultaneous operation of up to 03 Boeing 737s and the runway is 1840 m long. After the reform, the forecast is that the airport will hold up to 7 aircraft simultaneously. The forecast for 2025 is also that the airport will handle approximately 276 thousand passengers per year. According to the Civil Aviation Secretariat, in a data released on October 22, 2015, this is one of the 65 airports in Brazil that most handles passengers. It is between 15 in the Northeast and 3 in Pernambuco. On December 21, 2015, Anac raises the airport's classification to 2nd category (before 3rd), staying at the same level as many capital airports, such as João Pessoa (PB), Vitória (ES) and Goiânia (GO). Another of the state in this same category is the Petrolina International Airport - Senador Nilo Coelho.
