You can hover like a helicopter, or escort an airliner like a jet fighter. Participate in competitions or fly above cities in VR mount raising hands to control the flight like in RL.
BASIC CONTROLS
Flaps handle is flight mode switch:
- Flap #1 Cruise flight - native flight model only active
- Flap #2 Stabilization - automatics will try to hold you in vertical position, manual control effectiveness also increased; in horizontal flight - increases controls quality and stabilize the wing
- Flap #3 Hovering - automatics will try to hold you 10 meters above the surface, set throttle to 0% or 100% to avoid controls conflict
- Flap #4 Landing - when you hover above ground, enable to land smoothly
- Flap #5 Parachute - ensure you have at least 500ft altitude above ground. To toggle chute quickly, you can use Gears handle [G]
Anti Ice [H] - toggle first person view helmet visibility
Pitot Heater [Shift+H] - toggle HUD/HMD screen visibility
Spoilers handle - helmet display vertical position adjustment
Navigation lights switch [Alt+J] - aboard attachment toggle
All listed settings can be switch by clickable Control Panel.
Int > End fixed camera (A to toggle)
HOW REAL IS IT?
We are not trying to build a copy of any real aircraft. However, we are trying to make it fly at least somehow realistically for given specifications, in the existing limits of MSFS and our knowledge. Please consider JW1 as an evaluation of simulator capabilities rather than an attempt to create a flight trainer. Any experience you will get with this add-on can't be used in real life, both for flying or aircraft building.
CURRENT DEVELOPMENT STAGE
Project finished! Get latest freeware or payware version and enjoy the freedom. You can always leave feedback or report issues in comments on website or in our Discord. Some technical limitations exists that we can't affect anyhow, but they will be solved by MSFS developers with time.

HOW TO INSTALL?
Unpack folder touchingcloud-aircraft-jw1 into Community directory of MSFS, launch simulator. You can use an add-on installer if you have any.
To install alternative flight model, after main files already unpacked (previous step), copy content of maxx2504-flight-model into community folder. Alternative FM is more stable and predictable – jetpack will fly like a small plane rather than body attached to the wing. If you feel default one too hard to control – try new one. If you are happy with “challenging” style of default FM – you better stay on it.
HOW TO UNINSTALL?
Delete folder touchingcloud-aircraft-jw1 from Community directory of MSFS, restart simulator.
IS VR/TrackIR SUPPORTED?
MSFS SDK has a limitation which makes impossible to track VR view, but workaround exist which makes possible to predict view direction. You need to center camera before the flight (Space key bu default).
To adjust tracking sensitivity, use wheels on Control Panel - hold controller trigger on one of the wheels, move head away from the center, move controller to center display, release trigger.
You can also try to use motion controllers during flight, moving on the ground or landing with parachute.
In First Person view ("Close" camera) near to pilot hands you can find motion control areas (half transparent spheres) - grab left one first (move controller inside of it and hold the trigger), then right one. Hold triggers to keep motion controls active.
Readme PDF file is inside of install archive.
To apply hot fixes (if you have not made manual changes in config files), just unpack archive content into Community over existing folder. Before minor (like 0. 9. 0) or major (like 1. 0) updates recommended to remove old version completely.

Compared with other four-seat light aircraft the Yak-18T is only a little wider and longer but it is much heavier and is equipped with a considerably more powerful engine. The Yak-18T has strong construction, aerobatic capability and responsive handling characteristics and its performance and handling capabilities far exceed its western counterparts. When performing aerobatics, the solid airframe is rated to withstand G-loads from +6G down to -3G.
The Yak-18T was designed with versatility in mind so it can land on paved and unpaved surfaces, take off from noticeably short fields and it’s landing capability allows easy access to shorter runways. Its rate of climb is between 1000 and 2000 feet per minute. It is a big, aerobatic capable, four-seater with retractable landing gears that can be found throughout the Eastern Bloc countries working as trainer, transport, air-ambulance aircraft, aerial photography platform, pipeline patroller and more.
- High Definition textures
- Full Physics-Based Rendering material implementation
- Authentic flight characteristics
- Authentic flight system configuration
- Classic avionics design but fully IFR capable
- Implemented rain and icing effect both in the cockpit and the airframe

The Blériot XI was a marvel of technology and the first succesfful monoplane design, featuring many elements that are still in use to today. The Blériot XI won awards, set records and was flown all around the world by the first aviators.
With this addon, Wing42 brings this iconic aircraft to life for Microsoft Flight Simulator, so you can relive the great moments and dangers of aviation in the 1910s. The Wing42 Blériot XI features two variants depicting prominent contemporary specimen of this aircraft. The high fidelity model features high resolution PBR textures, unique and jarring soundpacks - utilising the new WWise sound engine, as well as a ultra-realistic flight model that makes you tighten your grip around the controller until your knuckles turn white.
Flying a Blériot XI means flying with very small margins of error. With the cruise speed being a meager 7 knots higher than your stall speeds, it's a challenge to even keep this aircraft airborne! The light-weight construction, combined with inefficient wing-warping, means that there's very little lateral control and you need to plan every turn carefully, to ensure you don't end up in a spin.
On the other hand, this aircraft set numerous world records for speed, altitude and endurance. Louis Blériot performed the prize-winning flight across the English Channel in his 'Onze' - coincidentally completing the first international flight with this feat. A few years later, Peruvian Jorge Chávez chose the Blériot XI for his flight across the Alps. Swiss aviator Oskar Bider bought a Blériot XI to be the first to fly across the Pyrenees in a record flight of over 500 km from the French town Pau to the Spanish Guadalajara, close to Madrid.
Dive into the Wing42 Blériot XI and recreate these amazing accomplishments for yourself! If you do, you will re-learn how to fly and become a better pilot for it!
Listed here are some of the features you can experience in the current build of the Aircraft.
3D model
High fidelity 3d models with state-of-the-art high resolution PBR textures throughout the aircraft.
Animations
Custom animations for all moving parts, including cables, wing-warping, down to the opening and closing of the exhaust valve of the cylinders of your engine.
Flight model
Super-realistic flight model created by aerodynamics expert Pamela Brooker. The model was meticulously compiled with the help of real-world data analysis and the study of numerous pilot reports. The included "R. I. P. Edition" of the Anzani-powered Blériot XI embodies the most realistic simulation experience.
Choice
Included are two variants of the Blériot XI: the Anzani-(under)powered one that Blériot flew across the English Channel, as well as the more common Gnome-powered variant.
Sound
Two custom sound effects, using the latest WWise technology for an immersive experience
Documentation
Documentation consists of a 20-page manual, also available here. As a bonus: a 39-page e-booklet about the history of this great flying machine, written by aviator Tom Harnish.
