Black Square’s new tablet interface lets you configure all options, manage payload, control failures and monitor engines, electrical schematics and environmental control systems, all from within the simulator. The failure system allows for persistent wear, MTBF and scheduled failures for nearly every component in the aircraft. The 3D gauges are affected by physics, and can even become stuck without engine vibration, requiring a tap on the glass to free them.
Radio navigation systems are available from several eras of the B58’s history. Fly without GPS via a Bendix KNS-81 RNAV system, or with the convenience of a Garmin GTN 750/650 (PMS50 or TDS). Flight Dynamics
The Baron Professional features a flight model with performance to match the real-world aircraft based on real Baron owner feedback and in-flight data. Engine and aerodynamic performance should be within 2% of POH values, though no two engines are ever the same. The flight model uses the most up to date features available in MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024, such as the new voxel CFD aerodynamics, CFD propeller, adverse yaw and stall parameters, and flexible tyre physics. Engine damage and fouling produce a rough running engine and decreased performance.
Paint Schemes
The Black Square Baron Professional comes with six paint schemes. The Baron Professional also comes with six interior upholstery packages that represent the aircraft through decades of service. This product makes use of Black Square’s highly customisable dynamic tail number system, which can be configured by livery makers. The other closest fields are Flugplatz Schönebeck-Zackmünde, Flugplatz Klein Mühlingen, Flugplatz Möckern-Tryppehna. Magdeburg airport does not publish METARs, the nearest weather station is Magdeburg-Cochstedt Airport, which is 28 km away. The flight information region (FIR) is Bremen.

The airport has two parallel runways: 9/27 (asphalt and grass) 30 metres wide and 1000 metres long (the grass runway is 700 metres long). In 2001, it was decided to extend the runway running in a west-east direction to 1800 m. Due to a lack of finances, the expansion plans have been on hold since 2005. With effect from January 1, 2009, the operation of the airfield was leased from the municipal airport Magdeburg GmbH to the private FMB Flugplatz Magdeburg Betriebsgesellschaft mbH for an initial period of 10 years.
There are neither charter nor scheduled flights. The runway is too short for some of the jets in question. The airfield is used primarily by aviation enthusiasts (glider pilots, parachutists), ultralight pilots and private pilots as well as for sightseeing flights.

1. Detailed Terminal Interiors: Through extensive onsite photos and manual modeling, most of the areas closely resemble the real-life airport (however, please note that the 1st and 3rd floor areas of the terminal are relatively simple, while the check-in area on the 2nd floor is detailed).
2. Realistic Ground Details: While my skills may not be perfect, I have made every effort to reflect ground wear and tear, with ground markings and signs almost identical to the real thing. Some areas have not been included as they are not publicly available, but the current level of detail should be sufficient.
3. Realistic Lighting Effects: This airport scenery enhances lighting effects and range to brighten up your airport, making it look more realistic.
4. Additional Buildings: Extra structures such as the control tower model, the Xiamen Airlines hangar, and parking spaces around the airport have been modeled as closely as possible to the real-world counterparts.
