C. was founded in 1791 to serve as the new national capital. In 1791, President Washington commissioned Pierre (Peter) Charles L'Enfant, a French-born architect, and city planner, to design the new capital. He based his design on plans of cities such as Paris, Amsterdam, Karlsruhe, and Milan that Thomas Jefferson had sent to him. L'Enfant's design also envisioned a garden-lined "grand avenue" approximately 1 mile (1. 6 km) in length and 400 feet (120 m) wide in the area that is now the National Mall. On August 24–25, 1814, in a raid known as the Burning of Washington, British forces invaded the capital during the War of 1812. The Capitol, Treasury, and White House were burned and gutted during the attack. Most government buildings were repaired quickly; however, the Capitol was largely under construction at the time and was not completed in its current form until 1868. Washington had an estimated population of 681,170 as of July 2016. Commuters from the surrounding Maryland and Virginia suburbs raise the city's population to more than one million during the workweek. The Washington metropolitan area, of which the District is a part, has a population of over 6 million, the sixth-largest metropolitan statistical area in the country. Washington had an estimated population of over 700. 000, making it the 20th most populous city in the United States. Commuters from the surrounding Maryland and Virginia suburbs raise the city's daytime population to more than one million during the workweek. Washington's metropolitan area, the country's sixth largest (including parts of Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia), had a 2017 estimated population of 6. 2 million residents. The three branches of the U. S. federal government are centered in the district: Congress (legislative), the president (executive), and the Supreme Court (judicial). Washington is home to many national monuments and museums, primarily situated on or around the National Mall. The city hosts 177 foreign embassies as well as the headquarters of many international organizations, trade unions, non-profits, lobbying groups, and professional associations, including the World Bank Group, the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the Organization of American States, AARP, the National Geographic Society, the Human Rights Campaign, the International Finance Corporation, and the American Red Cross.

Moscow is the northernmost and coldest megacity and metropolis on Earth, the second-most populous city in Europe after Istanbul and the 8th largest city proper in the world, as well as the largest amongst high-income economies.
Originally established in 1147 as a minor town, Moscow grew to become a prosperous and powerful city that served as the capital of the Grand Duchy that bears its namesake. When the Grand Duchy of Moscow evolved into the Tsardom of Russia, Moscow still remained as the political and economic center for most of the Tsardom's history. When the Tsardom was reformed into the Russian Empire, the capital was moved from Moscow to Saint Petersburg, diminishing the influence of the city. The capital was then moved back to Moscow following the Russian Revolution and the city was brought back as the political centre of the Russian SFSR and the Soviet Union. When the Soviet Union dissolved, Moscow remained as the capital city of the contemporary and newly established Russian Federation.

The Nieuport 24 had the misfortune to be the penultimate design suited to tactics that were being superseded when it entered service. Its small size, relatively light weight and small engine gave it a significant manoeuverability advantage in a dog fight. However, larger and heavier fighters that relied almost entirely on speed such as the SPAD VII and Albatros D. III were entering service along with the introduction of ever larger combat formations, which generally negated its manoeuverability. While its handling was improved slightly, its performance was little better than the previous Nieuport 23 it was meant to replace, and so it was operated alongside larger numbers of the SPAD S. VII, although in November 1917, out of a French frontline fighter strength of 754 aircraft, Nieuports still made up 310 aircraft. Operational Nieuport 24’s served with French, British and Russian units, and the type also served widely as an advanced trainer.

Ported Products
Ported planes are planes that were previously released on FSX and P3D. Plans for ported plans is to improve the model, textures using Substance and improving flight dynamics all done in house. Most ported planes will use Sim Acoustics to bring you the best possible sound quality. Both original and ported planes come with the new flight dynamics (non legacy). They will not have features like interactive checklists, icing effects, saved state and maybe more. This allows us to quickly port over these products faster as we have a huge list of ported planes coming. In return flysimware is charging a very low fee. So not only are ported planes improved products with the FSW name on it but you are going to pay a fraction of the original price. These ported products will be some of your favorite aircraft in your hangar for years to come!

Venom DH-112
The improvement of the DH-100 aircraft gave birth to the DH-112 Mk. 1 Venom, first flight on September 2, 1948. The Swiss Air Force became interested in this aircraft and tests were held in England and Switzerland in 1949 and 1950. In April 1951, the Federal Council's message concerning the authorized construction of 150 DH-112 Mk. 1 Venom aircraft was approved by the Federal Parliament with a commitment credit of 175 million francs. The license agreement included the Ghost-48 radial engine. It ... The improvement of the DH-100 aircraft gave birth to the DH-112 Mk. 1 Venom, first flight on September 2, 1948. The Swiss Air Force became interested in this aircraft and tests were held in England and Switzerland in 1949 and 1950. In April 1951, the Federal Council's message concerning the authorized construction of 150 DH-112 Mk. 1 Venom aircraft was approved by the Federal Parliament with a commitment credit of 175 million francs. The license agreement included the Ghost-48 radial engine. It was produced by Gebrüder Sulzer AG and was installed in the aircraft from the 30th production aircraft. The Venom was the first Swiss Air Force fighter to be equipped with an ejection seat from the outset.
In February 1954, the Parliament approved the construction of another 100 DH-112 Mk. 4 Venom aircraft under license. 226 DH-112 Mk. 1 and Mk. 4 aircraft were used by troops as ground combat aircraft from 1954 to 1983. 24 DH-112 Mk. 1R aircraft were used as reconnaissance aircraft by 10 Squadron from 1954 to 1968. This was the largest fleet that served Switzerland. The new nose cone, introduced in the 1970s, houses a new UHF radio, a bomb aiming computer and a friend and foe device (IFF). The Venom was retired in 1983.
